Kazekage Gaara
PSP Slim is useless for homebrew, though. Only the Phat PSP has complete homebrew support. You guys have some serious misinformation in your heads. A PSP Slim can do ANY homebrew that a PHAT PSP can do PERIOD....EXCEPT of course the IR shell ones coz the Slim doesn't have an IR port anymore thats why. You guys tell me one homebrew that runs on a PHAT and won't run on a Slim ?
reaper
separate thread not required merging with the PSP home brew thread.

Harsahil
hey guys new CFW M 3.90 M33-3 has been released. the major change in this is the no-umd driver compatibility has been increased to accommodate games like Coded Arms,Patapon and Harvest Moon Innocent Life. but we could play it by changing the driver to SonyNP9660. so out of curiosity i want to ask what's the use of chganging to noumd driver of M33 as all games work fine on SonyNP9660? Its been out for a couple of weeks now...already got it Well, no major change. Just some added compatibility of games to the No-UMD M33 driver. About your question, its of no use. They just wanna add it for no real reason. May be they want their driver to be as good as the Sony one Can you guys believe it that Sony accidentally released this NO UMD driver in one of their official firmwares and thats how "the scene" got it ? It still amazes me as to how good it is when compared to the M33 driver where the Sony one even though being so old plays all the games and the M33 one doesn't....well not until they released the third update
Harsahil
^^^ hmmm. well i guess Sony released this driver cos it wanted some games to be played directly on memstick and these were the games downloadable through internet. i heard somewhere that Sony officially released PS1 games to be played on psp and stored on memstick. :tongue4:

Never actually tried to run any homebrew apps. Of course it'll run the IRshell appz, but the program won't find any IR port Anyways, dude...you should try out the SNES and NES emulators. They are just unbelievable Except, I still can't play Donkey Kong Country but Super Mario World and Super PunchOut just makes me drool , same goes for Final Fight 3 and Ninja Warriors

Are you playing DKC with the sound turned off ? Coz when I run it, the gameplay is really slow and so is the sound. I read somewhere that you can turn the sound off to make it playable. As of now, am using the SNES emu on my Slim but the same thing had happened when I used to own a PHAT PSP.

Kazekage Gaara
hey anyone knows how to play PSone games on PSP? i m having a PSP slim currently on 3.90 M33-3 Well, I use a program called Popstation GUI to convert my PSone game image files into PSP Eboots. Once the conversion is done, all you need to do is copy and paste the eboot file in the msROOT/PSP/GAME/{Name of Game Folder}/ on your PSP's memory stick All the other PSP/PSone eboot creation programs that I've tried out require some kind of other software/drivers etc to be installed first, which trust me on this can be a major pain in the a*s, so I have attached herewith (link below) the version that I use. http://rapidshare.com/files/116585678/PsGUI300beta.rar.html Just unzip it to any folder and double click on PopstationGUI.exe, browse to the ISO image file of your PSone game, select the output folder, just click GO, and let it do its work. Once its finished, copy and paste the .eboot file to the msROOT/PSP/GAME/{Name of Game Folder}/ on the memory stick and it should show up on the XMB Enjoy!!! Lemme know if you got any questions PS: If you wanna convert the PSone games that you have on discs, then you can create ISO image file of that particular game using ImageBurn
