I started playing games on Inverted look...maybe had the Flight Simulator mindset :fear:

f**k...

now i remember...

actually, ive been playing on inverted since my first fps... i dont know but some earlier console game... but yeah i remember when i switched on the game, i actually started playing by the inverted style till i realised that something was wrong with the game! :P

EDIT: got confused btw the games

i didnt get confused and there was no console fps game first... and i did play doom or wolf 3D on Inverted aim as my first ever PC fps game! how ?? I use to play with a f**ckin Joystick thats why!

Jeez my memory is failing me day by day!

I like playing on inverted - maybe it's a hangup from the PC days. Mouse forward - look down. Trigger up - look down.

havent played a PC game for a long long time now... but bro, was there any option in the game to invert the aim with yur mouse?? didnt yu feel iffy while playing considering the daily mouse usage as the default one??

my daily mouse usage is low - I prefer keyb shortcuts :P

I think it just felt natural that pushing a trigger or joystick forward means pitching down which corresponds to look down in games. The weird thing is that I cannot play RPGs or Adventure games this way - there the mouse behaviour has to be normal.

In Gears for example when using shotgun, vibration becomes pretty high.So I tend to lose my grip on it.But in single player campaigns, vibration is turned on.

hmm...true,but i always keep it on :scarerun:

whyyyy ?? :samui: i always have it ON

It's just a preference.

But you need to have a good awareness in-game otherwise you're screwed! In a game like Halo, if you play with Vibration Off, initially, it would be VERY hard to tell if you're being shot at

Update

Halo 3 - 2

Sensitivity depends a lot on the size/type of TV you play on and the distance b/w you and the TV.

So,

  1. What TV do you play on? (HD/SD)
  2. What's the screen size?
  3. At what distance from the TV so you sit?
