Spacescreamer
@ Bubblehead Mind letting details abt this kind Palika soul out ..? mite come in handy in future... or PM me if u find that option more befitting. @Kazekage Gaara You're better off getting one from the showroom and keeping a VERY CLOSE EYE on your stuff I meant ppl selling off their ps2 who had kept close eyes on their stuff.. Eg : You for instance Err ... 2 Questions Still Remain: Official Sony Indian ones cost somewhere around Rs. 1200. Original Sony (swapped from an PS2 package) grey market ones are for Rs. 600 to Rs. 650 MAX. I presume u r speaking abt DS2 controllers..? Don't care about that man. PS2 is a GREAT CONSOLE with awesome games. i am not worried abt the support for ps2.. just askin cuz need to know if one needs to fast track my plans of procuring the ps2. I mean if Sony plans to pull ps2 off the shelves to boost ps3 sales.. then one needs to get it soon enuf.. We all know how @#@!!!**# Sony can get
Kazekage Gaara
Eg : You for instance In your dreams buddy....people are still ready to pay be 13k for my PS2 setup I presume u r speaking abt DS2 controllers..? Yes...am talking about Dual Shock 2 controllers i am not worried abt the support for ps2.. just askin cuz need to know if one needs to fast track my plans of procuring the ps2.I mean if Sony plans to pull ps2 off the shelves to boost ps3 sales.. then one needs to get it soon enuf.. We all know how @#@!!!**# Sony can get Well, it couldn't get any better than this coz Sony recently dropped the price of a PS2 to just $99, and AFAIK, it has already translated to the Indian market. Now you can get an official PS2 for approx Rs. 5500 And don't worry about the PS2's going extinct. PS2 is still one of the most "milked" consoles of Sony or should I say "still milking" console
Joy
13k for a PS2 WTF !! A PS2 is not worth more than 4k imho doesn't matter how new it is ,this applies if u have a PS3 , PS2 is a last gen console , its only good enough to play some of the classics if you don't have a BC PS3 like mine. I mainly bought the PS2 to play GT4 and a few classics which I never played like MGS series , SOTC , and GOW series. The Dual Shock 2 controller is hard to adjust when your used to a wireless controller like DS3. I want to buy this controller for PS2 , LOGITECH WIRELESS PLAYSTATION 2 PS2 ACTION CONTROLLER http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LOGITECH-WIRELESS-PL...328124001r36019 Anyone know where it can be available in India mainly Delhi , and a approx. price of it in Indian market. Dude...what makes you think I don't know all this ? My PS2 is the FAT version and I also have a Network Adapter with a 160 GB HDD connected to it. This setup is the most sought after by people who give their PS2's on rent. Ever seen those shops which charge you 20 to 25 bucks per hour ? Yeah...those ones coz it's convenient for them to have 50+ PS2 games in one HDD rather than swapping discs every now and then, and uber fast loading times makes em all the more better I actually had 2 of those setups, and I've already sold one of them for 12.5k and now am getting an Xbox 360 Arcade from that money
Spacescreamer
In your dreams buddy....people are still ready to pay be 13k for my PS2 setup i wasnt sayin that m seeking ur system but yea.. if u do consider anyday with a lowered price.. def yes ah one more thing that u mentioned.. Kazekage Gaara
Which one is better.. slim or the fat ? did heard abt heating issues with the slim .. and so one shd purchase a... slim/fat ? No heating issues or any other issues with the latest Slim models. It's just that connecting an HDD to a FAT PS2 is relatively easier by just plugging the HDD in the Network Adapter and then plugging the whole thing to the FAT PS2, and it's that easy. There were some PS2 Slim models in which a modder could modify the motherboard and install an IDE port to connect the HDD but even those models are long gone extinct. You should be okay getting a slim coz FAT PS2s are extinct and so are the Network Adapters. The mumbai grey market price for a chinese PS2 network adapter is approx Rs. 5000. You're better off getting a slim No issues with that and ofcource the best place to buy one.. Not Sony World i suppose..? they dont know what they r selling and their rates are always inflated.. Well, the price has decreased overall. There was a GI authorized vendor here too who is selling official PS2s @ 5.x k. Make a search. Or you can check out those Mobile Point Stores too Just confirm the latest official price coz some stores might still be carrying the old price tag of 6.5k I want to buy this controller for PS2 , LOGITECH WIRELESS PLAYSTATION 2 PS2 ACTION CONTROLLER http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LOGITECH-WIRELESS-PL...328124001r36019 Anyone know where it can be available in India mainly Delhi , and a approx. price of it in Indian market. I can't help you there buddy All I can say is check out the grey markets, or you can search for it on Play-Asia and order one from there Edit: Damn...that controller looks really good
