I had been to consoul yesterday to collect my ODST tshirt. I saw the game lying around in the parlour (360 version). Popped in the CD and played the game for a while... Even my gf enjoyed the realism in gameplay and the animations... I almost decided to get the 360 version of the game till i get my PS3 copy. But opted out because it wont make sense... :(

Damn you common sense... :chair:

I just cant wait... :D Have been tweaking my gameface for the last couple of days... :O

Damn, i hate EA and Milestone... :chair:

:D

Same problem i had man..on 2nd!

But i went ahead and bought the X360 copy coz there are many awesome players on 360 as well..n plus i have been playing Fifa on 360 for 3 years now!

Gonna buy the Ps3 copy as well..This game deserves it..Simply Beautiful! :nono:

FIFA Interactive World Cup 2010 Kicks off !!!

We are happy to inform you that FIFA Interactive World Cup 2010 kicks off today. Over 515,000 players competed for only 13 Grand Final spots in the Online Qualification last year. For FIWC10, we have restructured the world's largest football gaming tournament into a format that promises to provide gamers with an even more competitive and rewarding FIWC experience.

What's new in FIWC10:

This year for the first time ever, the Online Qualification will be split into two seasons, with the first season running from 6th October (today!) - 18th December, 2009 and the second season running from 4th January- 31st March, 2010.

This is not the only addition to the Online Qualification that will help improve your chances of qualifying for the Grand Final. The number of Grand Final spots has been increased from 13 in FIWC09 edition to 21 places for FIWC10!

Click Here to see how the 21 Grand Final spots will be split between the confederations.

Live Qualifier Events:

The remaining 10 Grand Final spots will be up for grabs via the 10 Live Qualifier Events that will be held between October 2009 - April 2010. Anyone regardless of nationality or country of residence can compete at these Live Qualifier Events. Click here to find out where these events will be held.

Grand Final:

So what will you be playing for this year? If you are lucky enough to qualify for the FIWC2010 Grand Final, both you and a guest of your choice will receive an all expenses paid trip to the Grand Final which is to be held at the incredible Port Olympic in Barcelona in May of next year. At the Barcelona Grand Final you will have a chance to come face to face with last year's FIFA Interactive World Champion - Bruce Grannec. The reigning champion has automatically qualified for the 2010 Grand Final and will be aiming to become the first player to retain his title.

The winner of FIWC2010 will receive $20,000 USD and the incredible opportunity to attend the FIFA World Player Gala 2010; a night on which they will mingle with the best football players in the world.

This game really kicks asss... bad & its so vast.. so much to do :clapping:

Few points..from my brief session as of now..

- Ball control...is fluid...

- Gameplay way improved than demo... and feels so realistic :clapping:

- Graphics.. look splendid.

- Skilled dribble rocks.

- Player animations top notch..

- Weather Conditions can be chosen as desired... and looks the best as yet in any of the fifa series... Wear & tear of pitch looks splendid.

- Practice arena: Free Kicks/Set Pieces/Practice match are good added feature.. very useful for even newbies now...

- Set Piece Creation wow....

- Stupid stadium cutsence still exists during substitution

- Best is growing your Virtual Pro player.. had a ball last nite.. especially playing in Pro Championship...were all 20 plyrs are custom players.. and yehoo I scored with my CB... lol

- Lot of achievements unlock as you play with your pro player.. this is gonna be damm addictive..

- Commentary still seems like 09 :chair:

Online:

- Shows your latency rate.

- Join/Search is now advanced and easy to filter.

- No more long waits to play online.. instantly connects.... including BAP...

- Saw 90k players online last nite :chair:

- Custom Tactics not available to use online.

- Played 4 games and one game had a lil lag.. While one game got me kicked out suddenly... (Reports on official forums also state..that plyrs get kicked out all of a sudden..hope they fix the servers...for this..else playing ranked matches will be  and heavy DNF)
