a very unique concept no doubt...but i think people can have different opinions as for hiding...some guys who know the map well can manipulate this thing easily...like running around in safe places or around the same place only etc etc...and it will become nearly impossible for people to say who is hiding who is not...

pata nai i can b wrong also...

and what about the prizes :rofl:

 

Like kz123 said, its very hard to define hiding and this could lead to a lot of unnecessary arguments after the game. But cool and interesting challenge though. :P

 

 

Dan. I have a few suggestions to counter the above problems:

 

1) No player will remain still at one point, he has to keep moving all the time (Can be monitored through the Battle Replays)

 

2) A player cannot remain inside his base for more than 15 seconds and the only time he can be inside the base is if he spawns there (Again can be monitored through the battle replays)

 

3) Radar should always be on and not only when firing (this will ensure that if someone is hiding away from all the action, he will be clearly visible on the radar as a lone red/green dot and then some members can go and just kill him)

 

4) Everyone should be near (approx, not exactly in the mission area, but who seems like he is trying to hide rather than fight) the mission areas. So, if, say, the mission is C4 destroy on ISA base, a player should not be hiding near helghan C4 area. He should be involved in the action (Can be monitored through battle replays, I know this can be manipulated but atleast it provides some hindrance from hiding away)

 

5) Scout invisibility should not be there, as it would assist hiding tactics (unless scouts r visible on the friendly team radar as green dot, then the friendly team cn just go n get a free kill lol)

 

6) Dan, tonight let u me n 2 more players, play a non-firing match on this map, and check out areas which block out the visibility on the radar (e.g. climbing on top of the buildings, bases,ladders, hiding in tht pipe, tunnels etc.

 

7) The winner shall only be declared AFTER reviewing the battle replays by 4-5 members (as its impossible for one guy to keep track of all players on the battle replay, and so 4-5 players have a better chance of finding faults), but the remaining 4 members would report their observations to Dan and then Dan will take the final decision (to avoid any ladai jhagda)

 

8) If all the players with 50+ mission points get disqualified, then a group of players with the next best mission points (say 30+) would be chosen (if in tht group atleast 4-5 members cn be grouped in tht limit, else the mission point benchmark would be further reduced to 20+) and the person with the least deaths in tht would be declared winner. However, the mission point count should not be below 20. If everyone with 20+ mission points get disqualified then there would be a REMATCH :hi2:

I suggest note down who all r confirmed for the challenge and then PM them the password so tht noone frm outside joins in. If u post password here, PG guys might still join as they do visit these forums.

Classes Enabled: Soldier/Medic/Engr/Tact (Can use all abilities assigned to each of these classes)

Weapons Allowed: Pistol/Assault Rifles/Shotgun/Grenades

Ohhh sorry....i didnt lol!!!

But why keep lmg, smg, sta etc off??? Would they be unfair?? RL and GL i can understand, but why the rest??? And also, if u take my suggestions, since noone can stay in their base for more than 15 seconds, why keep the sniper rifle disabled? If someone wants to use it in the open, let them....lol we will get free kills hehe, and if Scouts are visibile to their teammates on the radar when in Invisibility mode, i think they should be allowed too.......it would be epic tht they would be using the invisibility mode only to be TK'd lol !!!

 

Finally, why are you keeping Sab disabled??? Disguised sabs are still visible on the radar if its kept always on!!!! Atleast to their team members they r visible!!!

Only 3 classes allowed and so are the weapons only associated with that particular class !!! and u better hop into the OP first :P

Bro, if someone reaches the mission points in the first 2 rounds itself (specially if BC is one of them) then all they would be thinking abt would be survival and then might use hiding techniques). Also, when u review the battle reoplays also notice if someone doesnt spawn at all)

:rofl: Read all posts...before.. no one can survive .. All can go to kill the guy together who has less death to increase his death count.... Itz a survival challenge....If u don't want the current leading guy to win.. all u gotta do is hunt and kill him down all the time :P

 

The guy who survives all these attacks...without hiding...etc. is the real winner !!!

:nerves:

 

Scout = camping , no way can anyone use sniper rifle and be invisible and still not camp to be DQ , sniping = camping.

 

Saboteur = FF is on , so what's the use of Saboteur , you're gonna get more more death than kills as your own team mates will kill you before you even reach the enemy base.

umm. xcpt for assassination targets. they get to hide :samui:

 

 

n can v hav sab enabled..? or is there a specific reason it's disabled. cmon.. what's in ur independence stoked brain Dan.. :nerves:
