This can be expected, while most countries are developing their internet services we are going backwards. The recent fair usage policy ruined any little hope I had left. Just today I saw a brochure for new plans on my reliance wireless connection and a little star at the bottom said subscribers will be charged for usage above 10 GB for unlimited connections. Why don't they just call it Broadband+ 10GB and take off the word "unlimited".

Not even 5% indians (5 Crore) must be using internet. And internet is very costly in India. 10k a month for 2mbps UL is the cheapest we get and in SE asia they pay 2k for 2mbps UL line  . In other countries it is very cheap and fairly developed. So considering the current developing phase of India.... these figures don't matter.

Karoo your hatred won't make the Indian Govt any better. And internet is not the priority for the government. Its gotta first look at full employment, removing poverty & starvation.
