Listen best remedy for such stuff is to distance yourself from News (major News channels and dailies especially, facebook and Yahoo are other culprits), subscribe to The Hindu / Tribune and improve your English as well as read 'real' news that matters. Although front-page stuff will be full of fluff. You are in Chandhigarh, right? You know that the Air Force has a big presence there, do you know the reason OR would you like to know the reason? Maybe now after that incident people are coming forward and reporting. And 70% of India is villages. If so many rape cases in cities like Delhi then imagine about entire India. And seriously none of us will care after a few days. India will play against Pak in a few days and everything will be forgotten. News channels will be back to Sachin is missed, Rohit should be kicked in the balls etc etc. Man this is such a shame. My Cousin got her first Job in Delhi, She really wants to go but her parents are not allowing as they think it is not safe. Now she has no other option, she is leaving the job. Immaturity is not coming without trying to more open about it also so they should do it ...but its not me or you whose gonna be facing the world it will be her parents so that is why ...without their consent it is not right to do it either. The Maruti Swift Dzire car in which the crime took place is owned by a senior official in public works department (PWD), whose office is in the building housing the Delhi Police headquarters, said a source. The victim was rescued and the accused nabbed in a three-hour-long police operation. What was surprising was that they were not stopped at check points. It was the alertness of an onlooker that saved the day. He swiftly made a PCR call about the incident even as another witness posted the information on social networking websites, following which 25 PCR calls were made till late in the night. What is more astonishing is that even though the victim was kidnapped after being molested in public view, the UP police booked the accused under a milder Section 294 (obscene act in any public place) of the IPC as opposed to pressing kidnapping and molestation charges.. What .. did the guys got some catalyst with the girl's death or do they interpret the recent emotions running across as some kinda Go! signal ???
