KJD
I would humbly urge not to discuss anything even remotely related to what she could do. Any single person cannot even think or suggest what she could had done or not done. It will be biggest level of hypocrisy to try to fit in her shoe and advice right or wrong. dylanjosh
between hindu godmen giving such 'gems' of conflict diffusion and muslim clerics blaming co-ed schools and not to mention evangelists in us last year declaring pregnancy via rape as 'god's will'; my belief that organised religion is a big sack of bull**** aimed solely at brainwashing all, is getting stronger by the day. +10000

Heaven Angel
It's official: 3D is dead The tech industry's annual hot air balloon show is gone, and the world's a better place for it There's something about 2013's Consumer Electronics Show that's different from every other iteration this decade. You might not realize it immediately, for it's marked by the absence rather than the arrival of a new technology, but it's there and we're all sensing it on a deep, subconscious level. And it feels good. 3D is gone. You no longer need to pick up a pair of polarizing glasses on your way into a big company's press conference. There are no more 60-foot posters with people exploding out of flatscreen televisions. The super glitzy marketing videos now relate to the far more tangible benefits of higher resolutions, curved displays, and the beauty of OLED. The show floor space dedicated to three-dimensional imagery has been decimated, relegating a dubious technology to its proper position as a sideshow rather than a leading cause to upgrade your TV. It's a weird and ironic dichotomy. On the one hand, 3D has become ubiquitous enough in televisions that people are unwittingly buying it when opting for a high-end new HDTV to fill their living room void — yet on the other, every big TV maker at CES has waved a clear white flag on trying to sell 3D TV as an important feature. Sony CEO Kaz Hirai spent more time during his keynote talking about professional-grade Sony cameras attracting M. Night Shyamalan over to digital recording than he did talking up 3D. In fact, I'm not sure he mentioned 3D once. Here are some quotes from our live blogs covering the big players' pre-CES events this year: Samsung: "Surprisingly (and thankfully), nobody has handed out any 3D glasses." Sony: "This is way better than that time Sony made us watch a 3D video of Taylor Swift playing live in front of us." LG: "Now on to Cinema 3D TVs. 7 series and 21 total TVs for 2013." That's it, a footnote tacked onto the end of LG's expansive TV portfolio refresh. Samsung mentioned 2D-to-3D conversion in passing, and admittedly Netflix is getting involved in a limited fashion with 3D streaming, but the technology that once defined CES is now basically an embarrassing vestige of overheated ambitions of the past. IT'S A WEIRD AND IRONIC DICHOTOMY The best way to summarize the demise of 3D TV as a technology that companies and consumers care about is by noting that even Qualcomm didn't bother to namedrop it. The chipmaker's utterly absurd CES keynote, which featured every bad pun, cliché, gimmick, and trope of the electronics industry, didn't feel the need to check off 3D. As a technology, you're not dead when everybody hates and derides you. Neither will limited commercial sales kill off your chances. But indifference of the kind signalled by this year's CES is the truest symptom of a terminal trajectory. The 3D TV won its tortured, protracted war — you can buy a 3D TV anywhere and at any time — and nobody could care less.

darkniks
Boys too are victims of sexual abuse Last October Anjana Prakash, principal of Hansraj School in Andheri, was informed by a teacher about a Class 7 boy who had stopped concentrating in class and always looked troubled. She was later told by his parents that the boy had been sexually abused and sodomised by some boys in his neighbourhood. In the midst of the demand for safety for women and girls, experts feel young boys are just as vulnerable to sexual harassment in schools as well as in homes. "Many young boys tend to get harassed by older boys, and often are too scared to complain," said Prakash. "Usually, parents do not worry as much about the company of their sons, but it is necessary to understand that young boys are very vulnerable to sexual harassment." Till 2007, boys of all ages in the Andheri school's residential campus stayed together in the hostel. However, after cases of sexual harassment came up, it was decided that only students in the same age group will be allotted the same room. Several school counsellors receive frequent cases of boys who are sexually harassed. "I get at least two cases in a month where a boy complains of being sexually harassed by boys from higher classes, particularly in washrooms," said Shilpa Sharma, counselling psychologist at St Francis D'Assisi High School, Borivli. ur thoughts on this, gentlemen? The Wolfy among us
A girl allegedly committed suicide at her rented house in Bhopal on late Saturday night. Police said the deceased (18), a first year engineering student, ended her life by hanging self. A handwritte note was recovered from the house in which she expressed her adulation for cricket player Virat Kohli. It was not clear what prompted her to end life though family members suggested that she was suffering from stomach ache. In the suicide note, she mentioned that Kohli is a fine cricketer who would create many records in future. She also expressed her wish that if her family members ever met Kohli they should tell him that she was her fan. Additional superintendent of police (ASP) Dharmvir Singh said that the deceased's father has said that his daughter was upset due to health related issues. "She was a fan of Virat Kohli and has mentioned this in the handwritte note", said the officer. The girl, who hailed from Bina, was studying in first year at a private engineering college in Bhopal. The police have registered a case and have begun investigating the case.

Rohan Seth
A 40 year old man tried to cross Metro platform to reach the other side through the tracks and got hit by the Metro. This incident happened at Rajiv Chowk which is the busiest station in all lines. The metro did not move for around 40 minutes that day and the rush was absolutely huge. I had never seen such a huge rush in my whole life. But the weird part is that the old man was crossing through the tracks and the people were sitting there and eating popcorns?
