They shouldn't have let those two guys back in the first place .... will they let out Indian prisoners for voting on election day ? why the special treatment for these guys then ? Like i posted earlier India still not got over colonial past. If not it should have been other way around. We Indians are superior to them in every way...Most of the Best Scientist, best Doctors, Best Economist,Best Entreprenuers are Indians only....koi kami nahi hai hame...bas we dont know how to use our resource well and that we still stand divided .....It should be united we stand ..divided we fall but in india things are opposite. Anyway about the Italians issue, there is a lot that doesn't meet the eye, and i feel a big political move, since the issue of Italian sailors was a big one in the recently concluded Italian elections, and Indian government has probably struck a deal of Italy scratching it's back while it scratches theirs, the VVIP deal making news and subsequent moves by government make it more suspicious. I believe Italian ambassdor will be sent back in the coming days, and CBI report indicting BJP leaders like Jaswant SIngh etc. is on the cards, Jaswant Singh's defence against defaming SP Tyagi by media, is also an indication of his involvement & maybe more names will also roll out, BJP has probably got a whiff of this plot & are posturing to involve SC in the whole thing as a diversionary tactic. They pulled an 'Anna Hazaare' on them, & congress is hell bent on returning the favour. Anyways, it will all be clear in the coming days & months !! Very interesting, if that actually happens it will be a political master class by Congress. Indicting bjp in a big corruption scam just before the elections will swing many votes. Congress has been playing very smart in the past half a year. Executing kasab and guru after years of having cold feet, rolling out subsidy cuts and now this. Congress is not the grand old party for nothing, there are some serious strategists in their ranks; who can forget sonia gandhi giving up a sure PM seat back in 04 and in one sweep making nda look like fools for questioning here integrity (based on her foreign origin), garnering sympathy because of her big sacrifice and implicitly getting all the power without any constitutional responsibility. Respect ! I am not advocating that she is a great or even good leader, that is subjective and she has many glaring faults of her own; but you got to admire the political shenanigans and acumen. Someone on Reddit put it nicely. Italian marines were released on bail initially on the basis of a bond by 2 Indian private citizens. But they had to stay within Kochi police station limits. Later, this was relaxed when the Italian embassy stood guarantee and the Italian Ambassador himself submitted a personal bond before the court (in addition to the 2 Indian citizens who have stood guarantee) - and they were allowed to go home for Christmas. They returned after their visit but once again, they sought to go home to vote. Additional guarantees were taken from the Italian embassy and the ambassador. The stipulated period for their overseas visit has expired, but they have not returned. This means the bond conditions have been breached and the Ambassador and the two other Indian guarantors are now liable for prosecution in India. The leave has yet not ended , they were permetited to leave india upto 28th March . The Bond given by the Indians Was only for the christmas holiday period . The only implication can be against The Italian Ambassador who had given a personal insurance . ITALY wants to try this according to UN maritime Laws because of the them enjoying a better and more favorable image than INDIA . How ever until the ambassador is within the boundaries of the Embassy/mission no one can even touch him. India is pursuing this matter vigorously because its a matter of national disrespect now , also with the elections coming up in Delhi and other KEY states , congress Can't afford to loose it ,after all Sonia Gandhi is Italian Born and raised. Many offences which are actually statutory rapes will be passed on as consensual sex. It has more ill intents than actually solving the teen pre-marital sex, which is a non-problem anyway. The west is equally responsible for global warming, not so much as in present when you look solely at pure numbers in coal but they were the ones to initiate it. Industrial revolution and the coal mining and burning practices at that time in uk and us are well documented. Back then the world was not aware of all the potential harms of excessive coal usage because it was a new tech and also cause earth was hitherto largely unpolluted, so they went ape sh*t in harnessing energy and subsequent economic superiority. Now that they have reached the upper curve of development and can afford using nuclear and widespread solar sources, they are starting to preach.
