godspeed4476
Yea ...read that some time back only...those 17 youth have been saying this from long time they have not committed and that they are being frame...uae government could have done some more investigation to be sure abt it....it is sad that how arab countries laws treat immigrants specially from different religion.... I dont know about the whole issue, but if people can get away with murder just by paying monies then the law is clearly FUBAR. The next thing you know is that serial murderers with monies opening up a direct debit facility where the family of the victim gets cash on the next day of murder. I am not talking about this case, but just in general.

playstation
Ford to build second plant in Gujarat, invest Rs. 4,000 crore New Delhi: Ford India, the local unit of the Michigan-based Ford Motor Co, will set up its second manufacturing facility in the country at Sanand in Gujarat for a total investment of Rs. 4,000 crore as seeks to acquire a larger share of the world’s second-fastest growing automobile market. The project also includes an engine plant. Mint had reported on 27 July that Ford had chosen to base its second manufacturing plant in Gujarat. “Ford will invest approximately Rs. 4,000 crore in the two facilities, which include stamping, body, paint and assembly operations for vehicle manufacturing, as well as machining and assembly operations for engine manufacturing,” the company said in a release on Thursday. “The vehicle manufacturing plant will have an initial annual capacity of 240,000 units, and the engine plant will have an initial annual capacity of 270,000 engines.” The factory will be built on a 460-acre site with an ancillary park on adjacent land. Ford already has a plant in Chennai, where it manufactures cars such as the Fiesta and Figo as well as the sports utility vehicle Endeavour. Ford’s Chennai plant can assemble up to 200,000 cars a year. “Construction of both plants will begin later this year, with the first vehicle and engine scheduled to come off the line in 2014,” the company said. Earlier, Ford announced that it plans to launch eight new models in India by 2015 and the second plant will help the company meet local demand as well as export cars to neighbouring countries. “This is an investment in the future of Ford globally,” said Joe Hinrichs, president and CEO of Ford Asia Pacific and Africa. “These new state-of-the-art facilities will help us reach the goal of increasing worldwide sales by nearly 50% by mid-decade to about 8 million vehicles per year.” 60%-70% of Ford’s growth is expected to come from the Asia-Pacific region over the next 10 years, according to the company. “We are aggressively expanding in markets around the world that have the most growth potential, in order to offer more of the fuel-efficient, high-quality vehicles from our global portfolio that customers in markets like India want and value,” Hinrichs said. “The success of the Figo has encouraged the company to set up its second plant in India,” said Sugato Sen, senior director, Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers Association. The company has sold more than 100,000 Figos since its launch in April last year. http://www.livemint.com/2011/07/28130114/Ford-to-build-second-plant-in.html Gujarat is really one state that has been really doing amazingly well...i read sometime back it already surpassed punjab as richest state in India.... The murderers family or some 1 had paid the amount to the victims family as 'compensation'. The court was very clear that apart from the justice to the victim, it was also responsible to maintain law and order to the society, the culprits of a murder case cannot just walk free because they have 'settled' the case. Also, there is no stopping the family from killing the culprits after they walk free, atleast in india they are put in jail, but in Saudi they will walk free and the victims family might be waiting to bump them off............ paisa bhi lelenge, badla bhi lelenge. They would be like this after killing the culprits :

I would not believe everything that the pak govt says I had been following that news pretty closely and it looked more like a Spy v/s Spy thing , and even other wise most of my pakistani friends have told about the stories of car jackings even at busy and important intersections , one of the friend had his corolla jacked, the robbers just walked up to him , opened the door of his car, showed him a knife, gave him a few rs for the taxi fare and just got away with his car. Bird Bird Bird
Study proves IE users are dumber than users of Chrome & Opera ! Canadian “psychometric testing” company AptiQuant has gone to work trying to find a link between IQ and the browser of choice for different users (full results, in PDF form, here). With the understanding that those of lower intelligence might be more resistant to upgrades and trying new things, the group’s findings are not all that surprising. In short, the lowest end of the scale more consistently chose to use Internet Explorer 6 (heck, even Microsoft doesn’t like IE6) while moving up the scale the smartest people studied are Opera users. Camino, IE with a Chrome frame and then Safari make up the remainder of the top 4, with Chrome itself holding the 6th spot. AptiQuant states, in its conclusion, that the study “showed a substantial relationship between an individual’s cognitive ability and their choice of web browser.” The company went on to discuss the importance of using browsers that support modern Web standards so as to lower the overall cost of Web development. I guess what they’re saying is that you can blame the dumb people for all of the extra effort that devs have to expend, as well. Thanks, morons. Full results here (PDF). hammerhead
^ The only problem I could find with the survery was that all the groups may not contain equal number of participants. Other than that it was quite a comprehensive one. I would personally not call anyone using IE dumb though.

Bird Bird Bird
And another research confirms the rampant misuse of antibioitics in factory farms & the transmission of resistant species to humans. So the USDA goes ahead & deletes it from their website (but is available via Google cache). And tells the reviewer to shut the f**k up & not talk about it with anybody. Way to go America ! (The EU banned illicit use of antibiotics under their region 5 years back.)
godspeed4476
Any one over here following the Speak Asia scam thing, its mind boggling and hilarious at the same time, they are trying to prove themselves as legitimate consumers group and hence have started showing buying options for the products on their website, just checked on the one of the so called 'cheap TV' , there is no information about the brand, and the delivery would take place after 8-10 weeks http://www.speakasiaonline.com/shopping2/ProductDetail.aspx I learnt about the MLM things when one of my college friend died recently, he had got some success in the RMP or something like tht, did a bit more research and understood that they are conning the people out of their money and there is hardly any laws against them.
