tricky747
China's Air Force is about 3 times more powerful than ours. They may be a single-party rule country but a very powerful one.We have the Democracy, they have the development even if its communist. To top it off, our "Honest" leaders probably tell us a different story of India Shining even if more than 50 % of our population doesn't get two-time meals. Its perfectly allright to be patriotic but it would be sensible to accept the reality that we do not stand a chance against a powerful country like china as of now. playstation
Therein lies the key. The politicians will call off work at the slightest hint of China objecting instead of standing strong. And the Left is all too happy to kiss China's a*s. Left gets lot of fund and help from china...shame that a political party of a country is actually working for the enemy of the country... Its a fact that we are a lesser power compared to China, I don't believe any of the other nations thinks otherwise. Dude, what are you saying? China is much much much more powerful than India and that is a fact. If China decides to f**k us up, we are doomed. Even our Government knows that. I understand being patriotic but even thinking that India is as powerful as China is just ignorance. I totally agree with China's comment that India is weaker than them. The politicians whom you claim to be 'pussies' playstation know this fact and are smart enough not to f**k with China. Thank God aggressive people like you are not running the country. Imagine if Manmohan Singh pisses off China , we are f**ked. You guys put China way too ahead than it actually is...I know it is a powerful country but it is not like India has nothing now....we are a nuclear state as well and it will be collateral damage ....look by not standing up to china today we are letting them to be more powerful ....they are taking every advantage of time and influence they have.....today china can launch a full scale attack on india from not just tibetean side but pakistan occupied kashmir within few days while it would take a long time for india to even properly send logistics to that height .....by that time china would have already occupied major part of the northern eastern side and done most of the damage.....india does not improve even roads and build railways that side just so to avoid irking chinese...... ..they can show whatever aggressive stance they can ...while we do nothing....we will never be able to come of their shadow then....we will never be equal if we dont stand up to them today...... there is not all lost here as well...japan,indonesia,vietnam,taiwan and other countries that side has also not liked china's aggressive stance...beside USA is gonna enjoying bringing the chinese down ...so if there ever was a war i believe they would join in .....and even if they dont it is about time we live with pride, die with honor and it will not be like only we will die...like i said it is gonna be a nuclear war so they wont live to see the day either... @avishkar, not aggressive bro...not at all...i have in my personal life also tried to avoid conflicts as much as i can...peace is what i pray and wish for everyone always .......but when you start doing too much of that you also lose the will to fight ....and when that happens you are a sitting duck anyways....it is just matter of time. avkash
the article is a little vague, without numbers things make a lot less sense. And you need a proof reader desperately, there are word repetitions and grammatical mistakes in there. Also some of the points have not been put forward well. You argue that there are more consumers than sellers, but that does not mean that the government can overlook them. That does not make sense at all, despite the minority everybody needs to be treated equally. Instead the point should be (and like it's all over the channels or articles) that the farmers have possibly the most to gain from it than anybody else as they will have the choice to sell their stuff to the government or the new big time retailers. Also the local small time retailers have nothing to loose as well as their USP is easy reach and quick delivery. Clearly the big retailers cannot achieve either of these USPs as they need big spaces and thus are usually set in a central location which is not the quickest to get to when all you need is a packet of milk. The local guy will still dwell is situations like this. In fact this is mostly all he does anyways. Although a nice try indeed. Also on the point, FDI is good for Indian economy, almost all the reputed economists are in resonance with this thought. What an irony it is to have a top notch economist as the PM and to still see this flow down the drain. This government is spineless, at times I feel for the PM who has been reduced to merely a puppet. He may very well know in his heart that this is exactly what the economy needs now, but still he is unable to do this. What a shame. Also if nobody noticed then let me tell, all the MPs will get 50,000 each to buy an iPad each. Reason: so that they can read their speeches on it and save paper. Please do the math and account the money that is being wasted, A lot of it would be paid by you, your spouse, father or mother. these are the times that make me feel that I should not pay taxes, they are clearly not being spent on the people who need the money. Yeah, I kinda rushed this article last night since I didnt have time. I wanted to beat the papers to reporting my views on it. Dont have too much time to write it at any other part of the day, unfortunately. But thanks for the inputs, Ill be sure to work on them for the next article. I have included sources of information on this one, like people had suggested last time. I would have used numbers, but there isnt really a number game for this article. My next one is going to speculate on the Rupee Slide, there will definitely be a lot of numbers on that. The PM has been taken for a ride right from the start. His views are the most intelligent and democratic yet even his party never consider it viable. Hes demands no respect in his own backyard, despite gaining it from so many other people. Its hard for him to single-handedly impose his views but really, what can the party do if he comes out into the open about whats happening? Nothing. This is exactly what is required, yet he doesnt do it. Its an absolute shame. The Indian Economy is getting buried in a time where we should really be catching up with US and UK. Its very depressing to see all this happen. Probably the worst government I have seen in my lifetime. The MP getting tablets is a bloody joke. Even if they do get tablets why not get them Aakash tablets? They are 3k. Needless to say, its just another way to 'spread the money around'. I grow increasingly frustrated with these jokers, as each day passes.
Noctis
Nothing wrong with MPs getting the tablet, if it makes their work easier then why not. The money being spent on it is quite insignificant as well.
avkash
wow, why don't they get Aakash, why do they need an iPad ? and in a country where anybody who earns more than Rs 35 is not entitled to be called poor, 50,000 for each of the 300 or so MPs is not insignificant. Not even close. that is my money, my bloody hard earned money. I work and I pay tax on my salary (Tax Deducted at Source). I get my already reduced salary and then I go out to buy groceries, I pay more tax on those. I fill fuel in my vehicle, I have to pay tax. I have to pay road tax to drive that same vehicle. Then if I go for a movie I pay still more tax. If I buy a computer/TV/Phone I pay even more tax. Basically I pay tax on everything I do and then I have to see it wasted like this when in cities like Delhi and Mumbai there is more than 4 hours of power cut every day. Imagine what happens in tier two cities. I (and a lot of honest hard working people like me) pay tax for everything they do and still do not get basic infrastructure like clean water, good roads and continuous power supply. In a country like this the money spent on illiterate MPs getting iPad is wasted. WASTED. coming from a usually sensible person like you, I will dismiss this as a troll attempt. Noctis
wow, why don't they get Aakash, why do they need an iPad ? I just think its a waste of effort to focus on this when they are siphoning off thousands of crores (without exaggeration . Considering even students undergoing internship gets free laptops of similar value, its not technically wrong to give them to the ones responsible for ruling the Nation (the Aakash is too small and slow for the task). Its similar to providing them with cars, accommodation and what not. Though I do share everyone's frustration in that this will just go for personal use. playstation
I agree with noctis here...these issues like giving them ipad is not so significant as there are other more important things ...right now India is got the worst governing body and system in the world...kanzimozhi and whatever people involoved in 2g have already got bail....will there be any justice in this country ever?? ....
