Cyborg
There are not many interested in Team Fortress 2 in Ghy. Mostly coz they r turned off by the cartoony looks of the game and fail to experience the immense amount of mojo the gameplay offers. I am sure if they had given the game a few tries then we would have had well over 50+ participants for it! Anyways...this is turning out to be Huge, some gamers have arrived from Manipur from Flight to participate in the CSS tourney. They are a professional CS 1.6 clan. Overall more than 185 entries and counting!

Cyborg
@Athek - @sam - Yea, it will be covered! But I don't think it will make it into the May issue. The July one is more likely to feature an article about it but I will ask Skrybe if it's possible to include the coverage in this very issue itself! WOW! its nice to know the North-east is not lagging behind! location wise Guwahti is great! its taps a hitherto untapped market! and regarding Team Fortress...how about giving people freebies? as in say half an hour of free gameplay of TF during lunchtime and again maybe during closing for say 4*4 participants? If its a one day event then two half hour free slots on the same day or maybe for two consecutive days at lunchtimes? no prizes but just to intorduce the game to people... as you rightly said, its cause many would not have tried it out...but when you give them a free session and a adrenaline filled atmosphere...i bet you will have your desired number of participants for the next meet organized! and dont forget to market the gaming event during the Durga Puja, a couple of banners at some of the big-name Puja's will surely get you double the value for sponsorship spent! like i remember, Maddox Square puja has always been popular with the youth cause its one of the best girl-watching spots! some locations like that would surely work great! Cyborg
@blackheart- Yea, we will be promoting TF 2 2morw. Free sessions of play will be offered to participants during lunchtime i.e 2-3 o Clock. Hope that helps in promoting the game for future events. N thanks for the suggestions, I will keep them in mind.
