nitmeh3
hey 360ian's , i bought xbox 360 arcade pal yesterday , i havent opened it up though. I have a doubt. Do all the xbox 360 console versions ( core arcade pro elite ) have the same hardware ? Or is there any difference ? I think the only difference between them is just the accessories like ethernet cable , hdd , headset , etc. correct me if am wrong. Would i be able to run all the 360 games smoothly on my arcade or not ? thnx in advance.
Suhas
reliabilty is the difference..arcade r less prone to RRoD....plays the game in the same way, whether its core or arcade
AtheK
arcade has HDMI port which was missing in core/pro. Arcade has a better board jasper/falcon which is less prone to hardware failure. Ya you should be able to play games without any issues.

kitson007
firstly congrats on the purchase and get onto xbox live asap because thats what the 360 is all about.......go for gears of war 1 and 2...even though theyre not fps you will love them....go for halo 3(and actually spend time with the multiplayer because its the most competetive shooter you can find in th market right now).... and go for call of duty 4 also..... coming to sports go for fifa 09 ,nba 2k9,skate 2 (dont know if youll like it but i loved it,but it will be hard to find in india) and if you like rpgs try out fallout 3 or mass effect... and give forza 2 some time.... Aftrunner
Deja vu. Anyways most demos you cant download off the PC. But yeah some of them will work off a DVD RW. Regardless you need to look into getting a HDD at some point. If only to use Xboxlive properly.

Anyways get gears. Its the game which made me such a xbox fanatic. And yeah get a HDD without HDD you cant download most updates/demos etc.You can get a 20 gig one for like 3k.As for the diffrence arcade has hdmi port/better and quiter dvd drive/less prone to hardware issues. So you made the better choice. Now add your name to how many xbox we own list and add the pic of your 360 on the what you bought this week thread so that we can congratulate you

Nope, the console that you just bought has the best hardware among all the 360s.....the only hardware difference here is that you dont get a 20 gig HDD with your 360. Its bundled with a premium console. The arcade also has an HDMI port which none of the other 360s available in india do. You will be able to run all the 360 games without any problems on your
