Will it be okay if I just read up on the first game and then play this
Tyler
Yeah I guess so. But the effect won't be the same and you'll also be missing out on an awesome horror/action game BTW, Condemned: Criminal Origins for the PC retails for 299/- now. Tyler
The investigation parts are really cool (and even better in the second game). Looks like Batman AA drew some inspiration from here.
Keyofx
Yea, the second game was seriously underrated. You also get a bunch of challenge maps and a scoring+reward system for your money. Excellent value for money! I really need to finish it :\
Tyler
They really did ramp up the difficulty of the combat in the second one though. In the first one you could simply swing away to victory.
Keyofx
But the second had propah combos and strafing to make up for it! And not to mention those seriously slick QTEs
Tyler
And also atmosphere breaking on-screen combo scores But seriously, the combat was fun and challenging. That entire section in the museum where you had to use medieval weapons was kickass! Culminating with a boss fight with a psycho knight.
Keyofx
And also atmosphere breaking on-screen combo scores ROFL, so true.. Lots and lots of numbers.. I think they were looking to make the series more mainstream with the second title. It was a lot.. brighter.. than the first :/
