I thought I would post here before I switch it on so that whatever expert advice I get here would help me out in not burning my pockets. I have heard about these power/ voltage related issues with XBOX 360's bought in US. The fact that you would need to buy a good step down adapter and all that. My question is: would I need to buy that converter adapter? Here is what I found: on the back of the adapter, there is a voltage specification. So I compared, my core console's adapter (bought in India) to the premium one's (UK), and I found them to be exactly identical! - the only difference was the model number: 0001AX something for the indian one and 001CX.. something for the UK one.
