lol? Watch that 101 video....

i have ,graphically its not better than infamous but gameplay looks quite improved and fun, getting it for sure. But infamous looks better to me and even if gameplay is similar to the older games, that's hardly an issue, infamous 2 had one of the best gameplay in an open world game for me.

Its just a matter of opinion, whats better for you isn't necessarily better for me.

From deus ex hr experience im almost certain thief would do equally good. Also SS is overhyped. It mostly won't be a drastic improvement from 2. Just some pretty graphics and effects, a few gameplay improvements here and there.

I think the main reason for the hype behind Second son is that it's the first proper next-gen open world game which looks really good visually.

I trust the guys behind Deus Ex HR, it was and still is one of the best games I've ever played.

If this was the same team who were working on this title. Sadly not the case. Lots of changes in organisation and people have quit, I am not going to call Thief dead but not hyped to the point of pre-ordering it.

That was a rumor back then, they confined team hasn't changed much

What is the definition of 'much', more importantly, just because they did a great job on one title does not mean you will get the same results with another franchise.

I am interested in this reboot but none of the previews, trailers, leaks seem to suggest a lot of positive design choices. And more importantly none of the previews seem to have a wholly positive outlook on the title. In-fact most articles are worded like,

"Dit dah, dah, dah BUT..."

Most of these previews are done by the spectral reviewers though, i wouldnt care for them at all.

If you think PCGamer and EuroGamer are fly-by-night operations I cannot really help your opinion.

You are entitled to go ahead with your purchases, I will wait for someone who has played the older title's to give me a low down and whether this is worthy successor or no. Cheerio!

Well ofc i wont force you to pre order it lol.

I dont know much about Eurogamer or PCgamer really. I prefer looking youtube walktroughs and playing demos in deciding, or sometimes prefer to look up metacritic or gamerankings score as they are collective opinion of many gamers.

btw Eurogamer gave Dark Souls - 9, Dragons Dogma - 7 but Skyrim a 10, which i wont approve :P. also Dishonored and Tomb Raider only 8.

Doubles-speak much?

You are willing to trust aggregation sites like MetaCritic but because a reviewer decided to give Tomb Raider / Dark Souls a lower score than a mainstream blockbuster franchise it gets a tongue smiley and derision.

Maybe I should thumb every major site because Spec Op: THE LINE was given nothing but ~6's / 7's because of its 'game-play' shortcomings while hipsters like me found persevering through to the end revealed a journey worth the effort and patience.
