Bulovski
your bumper is screwed - if you can take it apart and put it back on your own, then try that. else get a new one.

strategy
a simple microswitch(.... that's what the seller told me).....the shape and size must be correct though is to be replaced .....you can do it on your own : Â 1........open the controller ....check the microswitch and get the correct one from a radio repair shop. 2........take out the main board 3........use the soldering rod to take out he trigger(/s) 4........replace the microswitch of the respective bumper( LB in your case) 5.......put everythin back!! TRMNTR
Don't open your controller just yet! Â I had the same problem with my controller. There could be 2 reasons for it... Â 1. Dust - Usually, that is the problem 2. Button - The button itself is screwed! Â Initially, try blowing into your LB Button (no pun intended ). This is just a temporary thing which may help you know if dust is the problem or not. If that doesn't work then you'll need to open the controller and clean that area! While you're at it, clean the entire controller. And IF even that doesn't work, THEN you replace the button.

L33TWiZaRd
For opening the controller you will need a torx screw driver, size 7. You can buy the screwdriver from a computer or electronic store. Ask for a multi head screwdriver.
