pinkmonster
How do I improve my parrying? My sense of timing has declined these days. Keep getting my a*s kicked by every character because I don't parry well. Playing on the PS3.
IshmaelIsBack
^^ Just boot up R-00. Before proceeding further to fight the UG , you'll get a swarm of maverick security personnel to battle. Infinite spawn. Use these as practice dummies anytime but if you quit during a chapter , your save will be overwritten. For parries , learn to block first off. Parrying is almost milliseconds before , i.e. press forward + square when you see the opponent starting his hit animation ( applies for most variants and bosses , although some exceptions ). You'll get a brief on-screen flash helping the timing as well.

pinkmonster
So, no matter where Raiden is facing, it's forward and square? Need to learn how to do this better. I can fight those moronic security people fine, but it's those UGs and other machines. Anyway, I shall practice some more.
WhiteWolf
I shall practice some more. You better if you want to defeat Monsoon...

Well its actually very lenient. Also you don't have to parry exactly when you are gonna get hit. You can parry a little earlier, if you notice raiden will go into a block stance . The window is actually very large. Parrying at the exact moment is for perfect parry which give you a free counter attack.

I can fight those moronic security people fine, but it's those UGs and other machines. Anyway, I shall practice some more. Yes , forward + square and no , not where Raiden's facing , but the enemy soldier / UG facing Raiden. To give you a recent example it ( pretty much the same month of release ) , played DmC ? The very same , but the timing is quite earlier here. As I said , you'll be seeing a flash right before the attack , press forward + square just before. The enemy will go into stun for a brief period of attacks , or if your weapon is upgraded enough , it'll lead straight to Zandatsu depending upon enemy types and difficulty. Again , learn to block first off from all directions and R-00 would be useful with practice dummies. This type gives you a fair idea of timing most attacks from all types throughout the game. There are instances for enemy types as well as bosses where you can multiparry and experiment later on. Try launchers and the specific weapon's B'n'B's into air dash cancel > Zandatsu. It'll look & feel amazing

Heaven Angel
Signed. Bayonetta (2) on PC. Dem pixie cut. DAY 1. _ From SEGA Don't worry, when I emailed my teams raising awareness, I included VC and every title that had been collected in the original post on Neogaf. So at the very least there's been some low level awareness given to it inside the company. Congrats on 1k first day! Still going strong too, I'm keeping my eye on it Recognition from PlatinumGames: I was the one that pushed for our team to visit Valve, and I have been the one pestering the MGR PC producer with everyone's comments to make sure people are aware of the PC audience. Push comes to shove, I am probably one of the biggest PC advocates at Platinum."I would love to see Vanquish and Bayonetta on PC."
Big Boss
Vanquish is the one of the best TPS of all time, and it coming to PC will be a dream come true.
MarketTantrik
Vanquish is the one of the best TPS of all time, and it coming to PC will be a dream come true. Yes. It'll be a real shame if Vanquish is nonsensically kept from seeing light of day on the PC while a less capable (yet still fun) Japanese shooter, Binary Domain, is available on the PC. IshmaelIsBack
Bayonetta (2) on PC. Dem pixie cut. DAY 1. Yeah , not happening , sorry. Bayo 1 and VF5:FS are the closest thing to a PC release from SEGA's eyes. As much as I want Vanquish among other titles like HD remasters , chances are slim.
