IshmaelIsBack Posted January 19, 2014 Report Share Posted January 19, 2014 I got beaten by Sam in my two tries last night. WTF? I beat him easily when I played on 360. Not easily really but in 2-3 tries. I couldn't even get his health down to <80% yesterday in my 2 tries. Maybe I am doing something wrong or playing with wrong weapon. Also, Raiden was always Ninja Running even without pressing RT. Is my controller conked or a bug in the game? Maybe that is why I wasn't able to parry at all. Your left stick must be stuck in the up direction , try removing the residue with a cotton. If same case with RT you have to open up the controller , clean the trigger , mainboard and the rubber pads / spring too. This could easily be identified , all of'em when pressed will feel a little loose and wobble a bit. This will cause problems later in the final set of Zangeki > Zandatsu against Armstrong as well. Happened to me before, just change region or try again after some time. _If nothing works, do the following.Take back-up of downloaded files. Usually in :\Steam\SteamApps\downloading\appid (235460)Go to :\Steam\SteamApps\commonCreate folder: METAL GEAR RISING REVENGEANCEOpen Steam - select the game, right click and delete all contents.Now copy-paste all downloaded files to above folderOpen Steam - select game - hit install.Steam will automatically check all files and download the missing files. Was i suppose to delete all content before copy paste? I deleted like you said. But there was nothing to copy paste in 235460 folder. Then follow the steps. _ You need to take back-up first. Delete everything via steam (by selecting the game-right click-delete local content) Then create game folder "METAL GEAR RISING REVENGEANCE" under steamapps/common. Copy-paste all files here. (also removed files from download folder?) :\Steam\SteamApps\common\METAL GEAR RISING REVENGEANCE\ :\Steam\SteamApps\common\METAL GEAR RISING REVENGEANCE\GameData Post the folder size of movie, movie_ui and sound. If it's few files, I will share mine. Also, create .sfv. It'll be easy to fix. _ If you don't want to go through all this, feel free to re-download. Yes And this is so infuriating Steam on install "discovering existing files" (takes 5+min) and deletes entire file and starts from scratch tried it again by copying 23gb to game data (now from Indian region) deletes it again.. validated files.. still nothing Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
