I think the figures are most probably about half of that...just around 25-26k. Still that would make it more than I would have expected for a PC game to sell in India. Aman27deep Posted May 30, 2009 Report Share Posted May 30, 2009 OMG me has another PC breda, welcome my friend Japani dekh bhai bandhu aa gaye oye count me in as well PC games still sell more then Console games in India go to your local retailer and find out and also please don't make useless comments like the one highlighted above. its kinda right and wrong. like i (may not) pirate games a lot, but if i like a game a lot, i buy it (for sure) as i wont go out and buy classic games such as hanuman boy genius game for ps2 (sadly i did and threw the game in my bin after breaking it[as i knew noone on GI would buy it{after the horrendous review}]). Liquid ocelot Posted May 31, 2009 Report Share Posted May 31, 2009 I think te 499 bit helped quite a lot(might have sold more if it wasnt for the performance issues and bugs), I download a lot..but at 499 it beats downloading especially when it's 2 dvds. Same for the orange box(event though it's twice the price,but you get to play online). I'm actually buying pc games nowadays lol,how times have changed. And there are an insane amount of ports that are better than consoles, just off the top of my head Riddick, Mirrors Edge, TRU, DMC4, Bioshock, The orange box and pretty much every other game that you could name. I would even add Dead space to that list if you have a gamepad. dead space looks good on xbox 360,pc version aint bad ,dunno y those mofos at ea made it look better at xbopx 360 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
keith_j_snyder2 Posted June 1, 2009 Report Share Posted June 1, 2009 GTA 4 doesn't need a uber big PC. One of a friend has got Pentium D 2.8, 2GB RAM & 256 MB 8600GT & GTA4 running fair on that. This whole setup doesn't even expensive than a X360 arcade model. Besides PC version comes for 475/- & Console version has 3-4 times expensive than PC version. Gta4 didn't have the most impressive multiplayer, If a Gta4:MP or MTA:IV is ever released it will probably be > than the one done by R*, This coming from a huge fan of the series.Also GFWL is one of the most annoying software I've had to deal with.
