PSP GO confirmed

No second hand games too..Sony loves shooting its fan base left and right, expect a bigger loss next year

This is my biggest gripe with services like Steam. If you are going to make it so that someone can never sell a game after having bought it, you should figure that into the cost and make it cheaper. Which is why it never makes sense to me when people buy new games off steam for full price. Sounds insane.

16GB? :punk: well well... someone's threatened by the iPhone being the fastest growing pseudo handheld gaming device!

I hope they sell it at $200 mark in India too.. we all know the tendency gaming cos have to sell consoles at way way higher prices. also I heard recently Sony is breaking up with ericson in manufacturing mobile phones. So will it also work as a mobile phone? :furious:

a bit :furious: maybe, but wasn't the PSP Go earlier in the same set of rumours as a possible PS3 Lite or Slim version.

So does this mean that that rumour too might be real and announced at E3 or later in the year? :punk:

I hope that's true Sony needs a lighter cheaper console for people to start buying it again+a few more exclusives won't hurt ;) I myself might buy one if they do it!

Still don't get what the fuss is all about. If you want the old psp you can still buy it, it's not that sony are discontinuing it. psp go is their first major step towards digital distribution and whether is viable as only format for software delivery.

Koller in the QORE interview clearly said that the go will retail alongside the psp3k. As for the umd, no idea but I'm sure they won't dump retail game all of a sudden. Even if the umd goes they can always sell the games on mem stick

wonder how they will handle the bandwidth, imagine a new God of War and 100k downloading or even more downloading together at the same time, its obvious there will be slow speeds and other problems.

Edit : Whenever this launches in India, we can expect a PSN Store for us since its obvious its gonna be relying on PSN store for buying games. So Hope when it launches in Fall, it comes here too.

Or they can be smart and let us download on the pc and then transfer it to the psp. Doubt it'll happen, makes too much sense for sony ;)

This will most likely be the method they'll adopt considering they already have the free media manager software.
