ATI 4850 vs 4870 vs 4890

LOOK i have to SPEND around 14K to upgrade my PC with hd 4850{512 mb)

 

amd phenom ii X3 710 - Rs 3000

Motherboard around 3K

ram around 1k

hard drive - 3k

4850 - 7k

Total - 17 k

 

- 600 -800 RS 80 gig hard drive and processor + mtherboard + 2 512 ddr RAm - Rs 2200

 

NET - RS 14000

+ BENQ e2200HD 10000 - Rs 2000 {17crt} - - Rs 8000

 

OVERALL - RS 22000

 

or

 

BENQ + HDD(500GB) + ATI 3850 AGP - 6K - net - RS 16000

No dude! 4770 isn't better than HD4850 or HD4870, yes it performs close to HD4850 but not better. GDDR5 doesn't mean that u get better performance than GDDR3. nVidia haven't moved to GDDR5 & it is no less than Ati.

 

I said .... two 4770s on CFX.. outperformed 4890 in almost all benchmarks games etc.... except crysis ( just 5fps diff)

ok i agree , but then i will have to buy ATI CFX capable motherboard and Power supply worth 6K+ :)

 

 

no deal on ebay for it (4770) i will have to pay Rs8000+ :cheers: for even one

i am getting 4850 for Rs 7000 { 512 mb) n 1GB - Rs 9000 which one 2 buy :scratchchin:

 

i will use it on benq e2200hd with FULL HD RESolution

 

Dude go for 4870 cause u know it will run most of the games in higher settings,and u never know when u will shift on pc to play games.

My advice--->>>go for 4870 if budget is not a prob else 4850 is fine.

 

 

iF u still going for 4850 go for the 1gb one.
