Was playing Skulls and on the upper bridge of swordbase someone catches me reloading with no sheilds. I have 4 skulls so I go into Armor lock and figure I will wait it out and see what happens. Then someone walks up from the other side of the bridge as well. And there I am in the middle with guys ready to go on either side. And for about 4 seconds nothing happens. Everyone just freezes. Armor lock runs out and I immediately jump of the bridge while guys to my either side throw out grenades and kill each other. I die as soon as I land. f**king beautiful that was. You could ask someone with Bungie Pro subscription to render videos for you. If you wanna get tons of them rendered, you could pay them for the minute packs. Just an idea. Aftrunner Posted May 9, 2010 Report Share Posted May 9, 2010 Ok they seriously need to rethink the armament in the final stage of invasion. You get two rocket launchers, two snipers and a Laser in the core room. And you can spawn with a shotgun and a grenade launcher. AND if you are smart you can also steal the Plasma launcher and the beam rifle (the ONLY supply drop elites get) at the end of the first stage. The Elites on the other hand get squat. Even to spawn with a measly Nerfle you have to pick the Elite roll which is as useful in that long open killing field as wings on a cow. If they arent gonna get any power weapons at least get them better loadouts. Hell even the covenant vehicles spawn at the other side of the freaking map while the spartans get a working garage right at the core room. Play with a half decent team and you can close out the elites right in the core room itself. Towards the end of one game there were about 5 of us in the core room with shotguns and Rocket launchers guarding the core. The elites got it as far as 8 feet in the whole round. Any suggestions? you can get a cheap dazzle sd capture card.. but the problem is that with those SD capture cards you can't play in HD while recording so you'll have to play and record in SD.. that hauppauge HD pvr is the only external card available right now with which you can record and play in HD at the same time.. there is an intenral HD capture card available as well though, it's called blackmagic intensity and it's 1-2k cheaper than happauge afaik.. btw you'll have to keep your desktop on 24/7 with these capture cards.. so that bungie pro thing is better if you want to record your HALO gameplay only IMO..
