Looks like the console versions of the game is leakedph34r2.gif...atleast it'll help me decide which version to pick upwink.gif

Leak the PC DX9 more than a month before release.. leak the console versions a week before release.. and the pirates get to play it long long before anyone else who's actually pre-ordered and waiting

Well in their defense the console versions leaking isnt really their fault. You can blame the PC leak f**k up on them but not the console versions, console leaks a week before release is standard now.

Agreed, but going by their OMG the piracy on PC is killing us logic, shouldn't they now want to stop developing for consoles too?

Consoles move a lot of software, piracy or not. PC doesn't.

people pirate on consoles too, but they actually buy the games too.

on pc, people pirate as well but they don't buy.

Games on net a week before release isn't exactly what I'd call 'leaks'....these are iso's of retail copies of games and this has been like this for years now consoles and PCs alike.

A leak should be when its actually leaked out of the studio before the game goes gold, like the Half Life 2 leak...now that was a leak !

In a more recent case we have the Crysis 2 beta leak.

I just don't get it.... why would they buy plenty too if there's the option to pirate? Or is it that PC owners are brought up to be pirates... cos I just don't see the logic here :ko:

Simple fact...your average PC user is much more technically sound than your average console user. Other fact is that playing pirated games on console requires modification, there is no such penalty on PC.

Yet you have the 3rd fact that more people on consoles buy games than people on PC, don't believe me? Just look at the numbers games do on each platform the PC numbers will most definitely be in 3rd place, behind console numbers and by a big margin in 99% of cases (1% cause you have cases like BFBC2 every once in a while). There is no logic to see here, its just how some things are.

best logic behind all - why piracy is rampant in pc in compare to console
