WhiteWolf
Crysis 2 to use upto 8 CPU cores http://www.pcgameshardware.de/aid,768480/Crysis-2-Alles-ueber-DirectX-11-3D-ohne-Leistungsverlust-und-8-Kern-Optimierung/Action-Spiel/News/ It says that while there is no tessellation implemented yet, they are indeed supporting DirectX 11 by using compute shader for better performance. Also says that upto 8 cores/threads can be used by Crysis 2(on PC) and on consoles, it runs at 720p, 30FPS, no AA. Intel readies 8-core Nehalem-Ex processors for a March launch http://www.engadget.com/2010/03/08/intel-readies-8-core-nehalem-ex-processors-for-a-march-launch/ Intel's current generation of Xeon processors already represents some of the fastest silicon you can buy, and yet the company's forthcoming Nehalem-Ex-based Xeons are being touted as the single greatest generational jump in its history. To achieve that, Intel has strapped eight cores into each CPU, with a pair of threads per core and 24MB of shared cache, along with integrated quad-channel memory controllers, Turbo Boost, and the pretty awesome ability to scale up to eight sockets -- meaning you could have 64 processing cores in the same rig. Don't even ask whether these chips can run Crysis 2, they'll probably be showing up in the machines that are making the game... and maybe yours, provided you have the cash to splash later this month. WhiteWolf
GAMESCOM MULTIPLAYER DEMO WAS RUNNING ON XBOX 360 -IGN ''Today at Gamescom we got our first taste of Crysis 2's multiplayer component. Developer Crytek is going for a complete multiplayer experience that feels like its own game in addition to the single-player campaign. There are supposedly around 80 hours of multiplayer gameplay with plenty of stuff to unlock. A few of us IGN Editors played a couple rounds and had a good time. We played Crysis 2 on Xbox 360'' Wow..it looked gr8 visually....

MarketTantrik
Honest opinion, the art is too damn plain in this game....realism alone won't do sh*t, someone needs to do some magic here & put in kickass levels with amazing art style like the Core. If I want to play a 1:1 photorealistic game then I'd rather go & play Arma II. True. SOme of the screenies remind me of Metro 2033

It had some of the most innovative weapons in recent times. Apart from the crappy last stage, I loved the game

Joy
I just want a good long SP campaign with eye candy as good as Crysis/Warhead if not better , don't give a crap about MP with official cheats. I hope atleast some vehicles in the game world are drivable , specially that shiny silver truck posted on the last few pages.
