Those screenshots look great tbh. This is Doom 3 vs Far Cry all over again.

Urban environments will never look as good as a tropical paradise island. It's a design flaw, not a technical one.

 

The overall lighting and effects are looking as good as ever.

one question : So since this is coming on all the three major platforms, are they gona make all the three identical to each other?? i mean PC version = PS3 Version = Xbox 360 version ???

I get you,but all finally comes down to sales,Crytek isnt making Crysis2 to sell a mill or 2,they want sales and due to that they are not going to compromise the console versions of the game,especially the PS3 version which is safe from piracy!!

Ya I'm aware of that fact yaar!

But I'm also aware of the fact that Crytek had given a statement that they will achieve whatever max graphics is achievable in each platform rather than compare and compete with the graphics in each platform. They said that the game would look as good as it can on each platform individually!

then i have to say that CRYSIS is still going to be the most beautiful game out there

I think the PC version will be great. Consoles version will be different. PC obviously have lot of memory so they will make use of it and textures and everything will be better on PC I guess. As long as you have high end PC to play on high res and details at max :rofl:
