Do you think you will be able to play games without straining yourself so close to such a large display.

I didn't think of that at all. Though to be fair I tend to prefer controller over KB/m and for most games I would probably distance myself from the TV just as much as people do for console gaming.

But your point still stands. I think I'll go with the smaller TV for start and then buy a monitor later on.

EDIT: Slight correction. Its 26 inch, not 30

Okay. Let me know, how things unfold, I think I know a couple of shops in Pune.

Could you pm me the address/ Name of these shops? I would love to do some research in my free time.

Also I am apprehensive of assembling the thing, its seems pretty complex. I'd prefer to get it done :P

Get the R9-290, inquire locally in Nehru Place for availability, or purchase the Sapphire Tri-X edition from flipkart.

Unless you think the GTX780Ti is worth the obscene price tag of ~50000/- plus (for standard edition) and more than ~60000/- for a custom card.

^ Ask him but don't expect good pricing on the GTX780Ti.

Online retailers are selling the base version for ~55000/- (and higher), custom version are coming in at about ~60000/- (and above). Which is just wholesale looting in my opinion.

Alpha,

I locked my Laptop and can't remember the password now ( Never happened before ) good thing is that there was no Bios lock.

I have Symantec End Point Corporate on this system which also kills my freedom with both hands, So I am planning to wipe the system

and reinstall Win 7 and just use it for personal stuff and no office stuff at all. Is Nehru Place a good way to go...Also how much they will

charge for wiping the locked lappy. ( I don't need to save any data on it )

A bit urgent too.

Cheers

Just get a copy of Windows and format the laptop yourself, where does money come into this?

Well.... Let's just say that Symantec Endpoint is a bitch and I was also thinking of swapping the HDD to a bigger size

It can be done rite? Also I am really busy with year end reports that I'll rather pay someone to do it. Seriously brother

it is very hectic time of the year.

And apologies everyone as I did not realized that I am posting in Gaming PC instead of Ask the experts thread.

Thanks

Yeah! What size you want to upgrade the hard-drive to?

And what model laptop do you have? The 2.5" hard-drives are more expensive compared to their 3.5" counter-parts.

You will find help in Nehru Place but dependent on where you give it the price might be between ~750/- -->2500/-.

Hope this helps, Cheerio!

Also how much will a 1TB cost for this lappy.

And as always of course you helped brother.

Yeah! 2.5" disk drive, so expect to shell out ~4200/- plus (ex-Nehru Place).
