Ph3N0M
This one looks sleek and useful: http://www.coolermaster.com/case/case-accessories/4-in-3-device-module/ Are there any cases that have too many 5.25" bays to hold one of these alongwith an optical drive and possibly a couple of other things like light controller, etc.? Something with removable hard drive cages would be better if it is possible. Asking for a future purchase once I reach US.

I think only full-tower type cases will be capable of utilising this accessory. It is even being touted along with the HAF Stacker so yes, you might need to do a research on this end. Which case can accommodate this drive cage and still spare one or two for other accessories.
Aftrunner
Whats the best CPU cooler for a AMD 8320? Below 3k. Need something that isnt too tall as my case is mid tower. And how easy are those to install for someone who is a complete noob when it comes assembling a PC? Edited May 22, 2014 by Aftrunner

And how easy are those to install for someone who is a complete noob when it comes assembling a PC? Cooler Master Hyper 212 series. The Hyper 212 has an awkward installation system, it is not difficult for someone with basic mechanical skills, the only problem is that the process is tedious. You will have to compare the height of the heat-sink tower to the depth of your cabinet. You have the Carbide 400R, don't you? Also, an alternative is the Hyper T4 but it is not the best cooler although the installation is much easier.

And how easy are those to install for someone who is a complete noob when it comes assembling a PC? I recently bought the Hyper 212X for 2800/- for my i5 4670k. Core temp used to be around 80-85C under load, now its dropped to 60-62C. Brilliant bang for the buck. The installation process is actually pretty simple if you know how to use a screw driver Took me less than 10 min to install. Highly recommended. Just check the Cabinet clearance though - its quite a tall heat sink.
Aftrunner
My temps are ok. Idle its 40-45 ish. Under load is 60-65 ish. Which is pretty great for AMD IMO. My problem is the AMD fan is noisy as f**k even when idle. 5500 RPM can be annoying if I just wanna watch a movie. @Alpha I am using the Cooler Master K380 cabinet. I dont think Hyper 212 will fit. Or if it will then it will just about fit. Something smaller maybe?

Something smaller maybe? I have the CM Elite 430 and it fits fine. You need 158mm of clearance, pop off the side cover and measure the depth from edge of the cabinet till the motherboard. Your cabinet should be fine I suppose :

That is the only way it manages to keep the processor cool but hey better than the stock Intel cooler which is not even capable of that. @Alpha I am using the Cooler Master K380 cabinet. You might need to look into something more exotic like the Vortex series of coolers but I am not sure if it will be compatible with your system. Aftrunner
@Piper Cabinet clearance is 209 according to documentation. And factor in the mobo. It feels like it might be a tight squeeze. But then your cabinet is smaller than mine in width and yours fits. Hmmm. I still fell like 130ish would give me enough room to breathe. I suppose I could just lug the whole cabinet to Nehru place and have the SMC guys put it in. That way I dont have to worry about it fitting in. Its a PITA though. Your cabinet has that bulge on the side(s) so heatsink height clearance should not be an issue there. AFAIK the Hyper 212 is the best bang for the buck, and pretty silent too. I haven't seen my CPU (i5 2500k) cross 60 degrees since I installed it. Which RAM are you using? RAM heat spreader height might be an issue. piper
^That kind of sucks as the RAM has a rather tall profile. You could place the RAM in the 2nd and 4th slots, that might help. Edit : For some reason I am presuming you have (only) two RAM sticks. Edited May 22, 2014 by piper
Aftrunner
Yeah 2. But RAM shouldnt be a problem. There is room between the CPU and the RAM Slots.
piper
Yeah 2. But RAM shouldnt be a problem. There is room between the CPU and the RAM Slots. 1. That space is rather limited. 2. The heatsink is wide, and the push fan will extend it closer to the RAM slots. You could try adopt different heatsink orientation. I think you should go for it. varundbest
I have CM Storm Scout 2, a u-atx mobo with CM 812 TPC EVO and you can compare your setup with mine and see if your setup is feasible. And yes, my heatsinks fan lays above RAM slots but and if I wish to remove ram, I have to remove fan first. On the side note, you can save cash and go for H70i or H100i and have free space provided you have slots to place their radiators...Sent from my Xperia L using Tapatalk Edited May 22, 2014 by varundbest
