Aftrunner
Dude thats like 8k. LOL. Overkill for just watching some 720p/1080p content and Youtube/twitch, no? All I need is something that has an HDMI out. I honestly would have gone GPU less if my stupid mobo had an HDMI out. I was thinking like an Nvidia Geforce 210 or something for 2k ish. ALPHA17
Dude thats like 8k. LOL. Overkill for just watching some 720p/1080p content and Youtube/twitch, no? I am assuming that the card will do the majority of the decoding and audio once the Core 2Duo becomes incapable of the same. I would still suggest you get something like the AMD HD6670 / R7-240 or thereabouts with a GB of RAM thrown in for best results, should set you back by ~3500/- --4500/- for a brand new piece from Nehru Place. What happened to your cooler for the processor? Edited June 16, 2014 by ALPHA17
Aftrunner
Havent gotten a chance to head to Nehru Place. Got ridiculously busy last week. Why would a C2D be incapable of doing the decoding? Its not like I have 4k content and I am encoding videos in the background. Whats even the point of spending that much money on a GPU? Seriously, all I have are video files in 720p. Maybe some twitch and youtube at the same resolution. Just the proccy alone should be able to hack that. All I need the GPU for is the HDMI output connection. Lower the powerdraw and noise, the better. Plus at some point, the 650 I have in the gaming rig is gonna get replaced by a better card and I will probably move the 650 to the HTPC if needed. Which I am guessing wont be necessary anyway.

Go for the versions will lower V-RAM. Edited June 16, 2014 by ALPHA17
Aftrunner
Hmmm. They are all still closer to 4k than 2k. Except for the 5450. I am not overly fond of AMD but its in the budget. Either that or the 210.

Aftrunner
Alright. Thanks. I think 210 or 5450 will have to be it depending on availability. Hopefully I get a chance to go to NP this week.
ALPHA17
Any idea if Ducky or Rosewill mechanical keyboards are sold in India? Looking for the Ducky Shine 3 specifically. Nope, only option is to import.
Ethan Hunt
Any suggestions on Good Mechanical Keyboards with Backlighting ? TVS Gold would have been perfect if only it had backlighting. Will be primarily used for gaming - but don't need the macro keys etc. Was looking at Corsair K70 but looks expensive What about CM Quickfire TK ? Other options ? KJD
Just before week got this for 7K : http://www.flipkart.com/cooler-master-quick-fire-tk-blue-cherry-usb-2-0-keyboard/p/itmdsgg3wdsxd8zy?pid=ACCDSGFUTFTBTFSQ& I wanted compact Mech KB. It's quite good build. Bulky. Even though compact, good for gaming too. 3 backlight brightness modes.

ALPHA17
Yeah, but keyboard so it'll be crazy expensive to import. Should have got it from Taiwan. Any specific reason you want that particular brand or you good with other mechanical keyboards as well?

I cannot in good conscious recommend a brand with terrible after-sales, cheap OEM's with over-rated brand values to a person. Yeah! I cannot keep my experience with Razer aside when I am recommending it.
