^ I would suggest the following for your core build,

Intel Pentium G2358 Anniversary Edition

GIGABYTE B85M-D3H

Corsair / G.Skill 4GB x1 1600MHz ValueRAM

HP / ASUS (boxed) optical drive

Western Digital Blue Edition 1TB

Corsair CX430W

Cooler Master N200 / local cabinet

DELL S2240L

[with the rest of the budget, look at getting a decent MFD from HP, Canon]

Hope this helps, Cheerio!

Asus probably has the worst service of any major company i have dealt with till now.

Its been close to 45 days when i gave my dead motherboard for replacement ,and still nothing. All they say is "kal aa jayga, sir surely". How does it take this long to replace a Dead on arrival mb??

I dont really know what my option is really other then filing a consumer complaint.

In any case just puttting the word out for potential buyers to consider, stay away from asus.

I dont know how gigabyte and Msi service is ,but my friend had an okay experience with gigabyte.

Yes, that is Rashi in a nutshell.

I was informed that ASUS had got into tie ups with Digilink Services (MSi, GIGABYTE and AMD processors) to handle RMA. Razpor can you confirm.

As far as i know the replacement procedure is still handled by rashi .Digilink is involved ,but Rashi is the main Rma handler, its very confusing.I think all this is leading to miscommunication too, even the Digilink guys seemed unhappy at rashi taking this long to provide replacements.Thats what i could make out,its a mess really.

Asus should setup its own exclusive Rma centres.Thats the only hope.

(Lucknow, UP)I have an Asus laptop, as far as lappy replacements are involved, its was really good. (Replaced-- keyboard, graphic card)

In delhi, I got fed up by rashi or digilink (dont rember the name, one was providing bad service while other was good).

^^Laptop service is better as far as i have heard,pc component replacement is amess.

And on the issue ,i still havent recieved my motherboard replacement .Was twice given a wrong board ,one a h61 and another h77 ,i m just sick of it ,how the hell can they expect me to accept a lower board ?? and to make matters worse they are adamant to not let me have my money back, its almost funny how incompetent some of these so called MN companies can be.

^ Just for promotional purposes Harjas, I do not think your average user will get his LGA 2011 processors in such capsules. The customs will be a killing.

still awesome though :P

^ I would suggest you not do that. Considering most pre-built PC's compromise on one corner or another or are horribly imbalanced in their component selction.

If you are hell bent on the idea though, DELL's Alienware section is the only pan-India option you have and they no longer do desktops. Where you based?
