ALPHA17
^ Nothing as of now, get a PSU when you get the graphic card. If the PSU has to go now, get a Seasonic S12II 520W / Seasonic X560W and save up for the cards that release.
Mr.HaPPineSS
Ok so my current pc is running on a p4. Almost 7 years I am using this p4 I am planning to make a new CPU as the processor aint really supporting much of my current needs. My budget is 40k-50k Could someone suggest me good config ? I wont be upgrading like for some 4-5 years maybe I might upgrade ram in the middle. a bit of a gaming machine is what I am looking for. Wont be needing any dvd or bd drive for the cpu. Was checking the prices of the components and the prices seems quite high not sure on what I have to be choosing. Would be glad if you guys could help me out Thanks
ALPHA17
^ What are your current needs? Can you be more specific than that? Also, stuffing a gaming machine into that budget, difficult.

Big Boss
Look for R9 280 locally. You can get it around 16-17k. But it will last around 2 years max. If you want something for 3 years, get GTX 970 for 28k. I suggest wait for GTX 960.

I saw you suggesting 4gb vram cards for future proof....they are crazily expensive. I will wait i guess. The reason i was asking was i thought diwali is coming might get good offers but there is no card within my range only that seem to stand to upcoming game demands. thanks Ambar. Big Boss
R9 270x can do for now. But its already dropping to high settings now itself, so can't really suggest that. No point spending 15 k on that.
WR10
It's best if you wait for some time and save up some cash for either gtx 970 or else until amd launches its new lineup.

No point spending 15 k on that. I cannot buy a card to do just for now...it needs to last atleast 3 years and on high settings ......my hd6670 still holds strong with whatever game i have on my steam. I think mordor will be true next gen game i am buying...lets see if it even works ... i am getting confused also ...if i buy GFx card i can play MGS5 (my second most anticipated game next year) but UC4 and ps4 might take a hit because of it....if i buy ps4...i might be able to play both games but game prices are so high ...i will be not be able to enjoy other games . Big Boss
None of the 15k card will last you for next two years unless you are willing to play on low settings at 720p after 1 year or so. Since you are interested in UC4 and cant miss it, get a PS4 during MGS 5 release and dont worry about GPU at all.
ox-
You can never "future poof" PC. It's always best to buy a mid ranged card every 2 years. (If you want to keep playing on HIGH, else cards will run for 3-4 years easy). Best bet would be to wait for GTX 960.

I know but then i will probably be stuck with these 2 games for much of ps4 life....ps4 games are Rs 4k each game....even on tp after much waiting they drop to above Rs 2k only still more than pc game brand new day 1 release. Psn plus for ps4 is hardly exciting . You can never "future poof" PC. It's always best to buy a mid ranged card every 2 years. playstation
You've just attained enlightenment. Welcome to the PCMasterRace fellow brother! Also yes, I think waiting and maybe trying to expand the budget a little would be good. For a long time i have been pc gamer only though i could afford ps3 on the side as well because its game price has just now started going crazy ..thankfully much of its good years has gone. Even Tp price on ps3 games use to drop frequently . SO i could afford exclusives on ps3 and continue enjoying pc with cheap games as well But now situation is completely f**ked ...neither pc is as cheap as it used to but i would still say much better than console where as console gaming is insanely f**ked up...Rs 4k for each game. God knows what these guys are thinking.
