kmkaks
I have been sourcing prices from all around and I am going to place an order for this spec. Is it OK?? Mobo - Gigabyte B85M D3H Prcsr - i5 4460 RAM - Corsair Vengeance 2 * 4GB Cab - Deepcool Tesseract Sw Cabinet(2 fans).......(Cooler Master N300 asking price 4250 so I can save 1000 Rs here) HDD - WD Blue 1 TB HDD PSU - Corsair VS 650W??(Seasonic is about 2000Rs more. It would break my budget and is the corsair that bad??) Gfx - Gtx 960 Zotac(I knw about the 128 bitbus and all but The only gfx card that will fit my budget. I might hold out for 970(Way over my budget). have time till may for witcher 3, moreover radeon 280 is not available and 280x is 5-6k more. Or should I stick with R9 270X) Mon - Dell 18.5 FHD 1. I am going with stock coolers 2. I don't mind 900p ultra. Max Budget - 55000 3. Will this build last for a good 2 years? 4. Also since I am a CA trainee I am not paid much. Waiting ain't gonna do me much good, money wise. Edited March 6, 2015 by kmkaks

Along with better cable routing options and airflow. Next is the SMPS, the Corsair VS / CSM and pretty much newer entry-level designs sell on their past quality and reputation but are in-fact highly inferior components vis-á-vis competing models. Try to go for Seasonic S12 520W or Cooler Master GM550W. Getting anything lesser is pointless and more importantly a compromise. Where will you be purchasing these components from? Waiting ain't gonna do me much good, money wise. The Vengeance RAMs have thick heat spreader. Might be a problem if you want to use an aftermarket cpu cooler and all RAM slots occupied. Look at the Corsair XMS3 discontinued (i heard) or Kingston HyperX memory modules. Get whichever is cheaper. Don't buy that PSU. As suggested above, the Seasonic S12II 520 is a very good PSU and should serve you in the years to come (pray it does). As for the GTX960 its equivalent from AMD is the R9 280 (?) so you can also look at that. Check reviews and compare before purchase. Zotac's extended warranty is also good though. I hope that Deepcool has a good build. Don't judge a case by the looks. You may regret it. I personally don't. 1. Buy an after-market cpu cooler. It will be worth it trust me. 2. You'll be able to get a much better system at 55000 i think. 3. Depends on how you want to play. Not all AAA games are heavy on graphics/systems. Besides there are many good non-AAA titles for PC. 4. How about used components? Second-hand but in good condition and have warranty doesn't seem like a bad idea if you are low on budget imo. What if I go with xfx r9 280x gfx card will Seasonic 520W be enough?? Where will you be purchasing these components from? PSU, and gfx online. Every other component from local shop as sites dont deliver any of them to my place. I got a great deal for the xfx r9 280x(4 months used for 15k. He says he has warranty card and bill and all) but when I verified online it seems xfx has no existing warranty policy or dealership in India. Should I take the risk of getting it second hand from an olx seller?? Edited March 7, 2015 by kmkaks
ALPHA17
^ If you can get that (N400), yes.Even with the R9-280X the Seasonic 520W is gold. About XFX in India, can you put it up on their facebook page and see what they see?

About XFX in India, can you put it up on their facebook page and see what they see? They(XfX) dont even have a proper facebook page. Guess it is not worth the risk since newegg shows a lot of faults with this particular model.
ALPHA17
^ Can you link which model you are referring to? Here is XFX's facebook page although I agree they have very little information to go on.

ALPHA17
^ Get a second-hand GTX760 under warranty, best deal. Else, GTX750Ti or AMD R7 265 / R9 270 would be your options in that price range. Comparison numbers. AMD R9 280 vs. GTX760 GTX760 vs. AMD R9 270 GTX760 vs. AMD R7 265 AMD R7 265 vs. GTX750Ti The GTX760 and R9 280 family cards are the best you can get albeit only second-hand. The GTX750Ti and R7 265 are already on their way out and in the next two-three years will only depreciate in performance.

As for other gfx card in my price range...thanks i will check further on their details and see if i can go for it. One more think i want to ask...I dont want cards that need power source...something like HD 6670 which did not required external powersource....so are there any such cards available in such range...They consume too much power and i think they get heated faster also. mohit ps4/X1 le le mere bhai You will be settled for the next 5 years without worrying for outdated cards Bhai...hum nahi afford kar sakta hai PS4 ka games...sach baat yehi hai..Rs 4k...3k bc log ..sochta hai Paisa hawa mein udh reha hai ...khali uchal ke pakadna hai. PC game cheap padta hai...just last week hum ek jhatka mein 4-5 AAA pc games le liya without worrying about my pocket...they are not cheap also but still one can find it affordable most of the time. Beside PS4 mein hai kya...I aint interested n any shooter games....UC hai aur MGS tha joh pc mein areha hai...Bloodborne is another game i would like but really cant think of any other than that as of now...UC bhi kafi delayed ho gaya...toh kya leke karunga jab koi games hi nahi hai mera list mein.....Aur xbox ka mat bol...soch ke ultti aata hai mera ko... HotSonix
My point is that if you get a console you have to stop worrying about upgrading cards every 2 years. In Long run it saves more money than you end up in buying those gf cards. Also Pc game has no resale value Lastly buy games form TP here then finish it and sell it after few days,by doing this you will actually pay 500-800 bucks for the game . There's nothing wrong to buy X1 now since there is a 10k diff

There's nothing wrong to buy X1 now since there is a 10k diff From my last gen experience i have noticed that in 5 years alone i had ended up buying 2 ps3(even though for quite some time i hardly had much games to play so it was used not much also in the initial years) because one had gone bad and that has happened with almost everyone here...My ps2 of over about 8-10 years old still works.. I am not convinced with how todays hardwares are manufactured....I may be proven wrong but till now i dont see that happening. So the long run point is not as strong . I agree on the second point but look majority of times i buy very specific games which i feel are of great value or worth keeping it..so i dont sell them often. I do end up regretting few but they are quite few. Even on tp as of now you might see me selling quite old games which were kept for quite some time with me. Third point answered in the second point only.. As for xbox...nahi yaar ..its not my cup of tea....too boring ...pada rahega....until they start bringing games like Lost Odyssey and all on xbox ...i wont even consider it for Rs 10k. HotSonix
Hmm that's bad never faced any problems on ps3(slim/fat) so cant tell . any ways man like big boss said min18-20k is required to play games in decent fps. This cards will become outdated after 2-3 years so expect another 18-20 k cost bump . This is the main reason I left pc gaming. Instead of optimizing games so that it can run on low end cards , they push the consumer to buy new cards every time a new game hits the market with their fps/graphics crap

Till now i have never spend more than Rs8k i think on gfx card ever and i have manage to play many games very smoothly with good fps....now with 18k card it really does not make sense to me. I think at most i will do is i will buy another lower end cards just for my current games sightinging mgs5.
