^ Price seems decent, if you will buy local in Calcutta, might shave off another couple hundreds.

Also, if you go local, I think you should be capable of finding GTX760's going for not more than ~15000/-. Worthy at that price point, although I would leave it up-to you.

As for selling your old card, open negotiations at ~3500/-; sell it no more than ~2200/- -->2500/- depending on how quick you want it to move.

That is the stock cooler variant Bhai, if you go local the Twin Frozr variant would be good around the same price point.

You should be well set for the next two-three years with a GTX760 grade card and above. I would still keep my options open for second-hand cards on OLX and Quickr which you can check in person.

Your 800W TAGAN should do perfectly fine for the card, you'll need to attach the extra PCIe power connectors though.

No point buying this now, the GTX750Ti would be better.

^ Yeah! ZOTAC! is not my first choice, although they do have a five year warranty to back things up.

Galax has no support in India as far as I am aware.

If they dont have support in India then why sell products with 3 years warranty mentioned here. How is Tag ka handling on this??

Planning to upgrade my pc budget 26-28K now.

Current :-

Intel Core i5 4430

GIGABYTE B85M-D3H

Corsair Vengeance 4GB x2 1600MHz
GTX 660

also have to give PSU for office purpose cause it bit old, so in 26-28K budget PSU is also included so what you think in my rig needs an upgrade so that i don't need to upgrade it for next 2-3 years atleast?

Guys helping a friend build a gaming PC. He is on a bit of a budget and mostly gonna play FPS and stuff like GTA V on it. Doesnt need to do ultra but if it can do Med settings @ 720-1080p for the next few years it will be fine.

I can narrow down most of the parts but CPU and GPU have me a little confused. I can either get him an FX6300 or a Core i3. Will that do for the next 2-3 years? If so which one is better? i5 is outta budget, so is the 8320 (that I have). Because with those two CPUs it will eat into the GPU budget. I dont wanna get him a shittier GPU for a faster processor.

Plus need suggestions for a GPU between 10-15k. He isnt averse to buying something used either. What can I get him in that range?

Also recommending him the same PSU as mine (Seasonic 520) should be enough for any single GPU machine right?

^ Get him the FX-6300, it will do fine in the long run, couple it with a decent board (ASUS M5A97 R2.0 or ASRock 970 Extreme 3) and he can probably over-clock it a bit to make up for the lack of muscle against the Core i5's and i3's.

If you are willing to look into the second-hand market for the GPU, you can bag a R9-280 / 280X or a GTX770 equivalent card which will be plenty good at that price point. First hand you'll get a GTX760 and a GTX960 if he is willing to stretch his budget a little.

The Seasonic S12II 520W is a golden goose, keeps giving and giving. If you want to look at something else check out our G550M semi-modular unit, its performs decent and has modular cabling to ease cable management inside the cabinet, only catch is the price.

Hope this helps. Cheers!
