^ If he is buying a new card, the GTX960 is the way to go. R9-280X / GTX770 for the raw performance metrics.

Also, GTX960 is cheaper because it was launched at a cheaper price and imported so, not a great performer (over the older cards) and I cannot say how the 128-bit memory bus will do in the long run.

If you have UEFI based motherboard and have setup Windows with EFI, these kind of issue usually occur as older cards are not EFI compatible. You either need to upgrade video card firmware to EFI or install windows in legacy mode or purchase a EFI supported video

guys someone erodov point out this could be my problem with gfx card and i think he got it right because it makes sense now.....so if i buy a new card how will i know its UEFI or EFI and that it will work.

BC....simple cheez pc mein itna complicate hho jata hai na.

^ All newer generation cards carry UEFI compatibility.

I never thought of this, you can check on product page whether the GPU is UEFI compatible or no, you can look at your current card product page for example.

^ A little unbalanced, would have suggested a GTX760 / GTX960 or higher card.

What SMPS are you using in the build?

Okay, just saw the video till that point, a Corsair VS series SMPS, which is something I would not recommend.

I am planning to bulid a new gaming pc. My budget is around 45k-50k. Please suggest me something which can be play almost all latest games.

Do you mean, everything including monitor and keyboard-mouse et al in that budget?

Sorry, not happening.

Whats wrong with Corsair VS series SMPS psu bro @Alpha17

Many things, but for brevity's sake, I'll only point out the major ones,

  • Rated to run only on 230v standard, not compatible with US market (or any 110v market)
  • Because it is not running on 110v standard, there are no reviews for it from reputable sources (Johnny Guru, Hardware Secrets et al)
  • Reduced quality of components used inside the SMPS, cheaper capacitors, bad / outdated circuit topography and so on. Google it and Badcaps, Tom's Hardware will be there on the top.

Yes

Okay in that case, I can suggest the following to you,

Intel Core i5 4590 / 4690

GIGABYTE B85M-D3H (check the rev. you get) or MSi H97M-G43

Corsair / Kingston 4GB x2 1600MHz RAM

MSi or ZOTAC GTX960 or MSi or Sapphire R9-280X or MSi or ZOTAC GTX770 (try to get graphic cards with 2 years plus warranty on the cheap from OLX or Quickr)

Western Digital Blue Edition or Seagate Barracuda 7200.15 1TB

Seasonic M12II 520W or Cooler Master G550M

(cabinet of your choice)

(headset / speakers of your choice)

If you are okay with AMD, check the following,

AMD FX-6300

MSi 970 Gaming or 970A-G46

(rest components same as Intel)

Hope this helps and welcome to the forums, Cheers!
