ALPHA17
Thanks Alpha. But even that 11k i need DDV writer and keyboard mouse too. Dont think i can go for 4gb and seasonic smps. Cut down on RAM but do not skimp on the SMPS.
mohit9206
Cut down on RAM but do not skimp on the SMPS. On second thoughts i agree with this. I had bought a cheap CoolerMaster 350 watt psu for my budget gaming pc and its a poor quality as PC would shut down and restart if i overclocked the graphics card .Best to go for decent quality psu. But i still stand by the VCD writer. [emoji1]

Thanks One more thing is there any major performance difference between r9 290x & gtx 970 Good lord, not the VS650W, cancel that sh*t. Get a Seasonic S12II 520W or Cooler Master G550M. The GTX970 is the better card as of now, although as you will ramp up the resolution (beyond 1920 x1080) the AMD R9-290X will perform better albeit at the cost of increased thermals and power draw. Alright .I'm looking to do 1080p at 60fps(it can vary i know). So Msi or Asus and if Msi why not Asus(just being curious to know).I have seen that heat issues are quite less on Asus gtx 970. playstation
Alpha i got the pc..thanks for advice. I skipped on Branded SMPS though..too expensive and had to skip 4 gb ram as well. Anyways i also enquired about GTX 960 and GTX 760...they said Rs 16500 for GTX 960 and GTX 760 was RS 10-11k . Good for the price?? The make was Asus and zotac and all. ALPHA17
^ GTX760 is excellent at that price point. Go for a custom cooler variant instead of the stock blower type design. No specific reasons for ASUS over MSi apart from the general perception that the latter has more alacritous service centres and RMA procedure. Both companies offer their custom cooling solutions which are vastly superior to what is offered by stock designs. Rest is up-to you, if you want to get one brand over another or have the budget to go for one variant over the other. When did it drop in price? I thought it was above 15k. Definitely a great price if true. Faster than the R9 270X.

Dark_Panther
Your PSU is sh*t. Change it to decent one asap unless you want to blow up your PC parts one by one. Also its extremely amazing to find out a guy who suggests gaming configs on YouTube has a shitty local PSU himself. PSU is the most important part of your rig, do not compromise on that. :| change ur psu asap Well its my second computer my little bro uses that .........................in my other rig I have a cooler master thunder 500w , I'm planning to upgrade my psu for the second rig soon Edited April 17, 2015 by Dark_Panther
Dark_Panther
AMD ZEN 16 core APU There's a rumor going on guys on amd's next cpu *hmmp APU............not sure where I should post this....so......forgive me if its posted in the wrong section The slide, which is already being asked by various sources, looks to be legitimate on the surface. It contains details about AMD’s long-rumored Zen core APU, as well as the Greenland HBM (high-bandwidth memory) stream processor featuring a massive 16GB of memory to spare. Supposedly the chip will be equipped with upwards of 16 “Zen” x86 cores, each of which could support two threads each!!! Its rumored to release in the early 2016....... Here's the link to the full leak : http://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/rumors-suggest-amd-is-eyeing-a-comeback-with-its-new-16-core-chip/
