Noctis 67 Report post Posted July 28, 2010 Need help in configuring a good office pc in the 20k-30k range. Its mainly for office purposes and doesn't require a gfx card, but would prefer the system be good enough to add on one later if necessary. Any advice appreciated. The damn thing weighs a ton, heats up enough to melt glaciers (from here), bundles a free gaming mouse, comes packed in a huge briefcase, and costs 1 lakh peace yep me...test results beech

HundredProofSam 2496 Report post Posted July 31, 2010 Im considering upgrading from my current 8800GT graphics card to a 768 MB GTX 460. Its costs about 14k MRP (can get it cheaper) and in the benchmarks, the 1 GB variant which costs about 1.5k more is only slightly better. Like a 1-2 fps difference in games like Crysis and Just Cause 2. Do yall think its a decent card for gaming? My current set up is a Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.6 GHz with 4GB RAM. peace
