Ne0
^^ buy a good cabinet with enough vents. Your selection is a good config, actually over powered for most current games The only game that could strain my 5850 was Crysis:warhead, rest everything runs butter smooth. Thoughts? I am looking to build a similar PC from nehru place . Does that 50k you calculated include everything like MS windows?. How much does a good 1080p monitor cost? Also is there any difference between plugging the Desktop to a 1080p TV with an hdmi and plugging it to a monitor 1080p with a hdmi?
devil_angel
^ I'm guessing he did not include Windows's price in it. I remember sam saying he'd cover that up for him
Bulovski
No - does not include Windows, UPS, speakers. A decent monitor should be available in the range of 12-13k. The big difference in the TV is that it's large and meant to be viewed at a distance. Whereas PC gaming is usually up close to the screen because your keyb mouse is there. If you want the GTX 460, call up the shop before you go. They are in huge demand and not easily available. Get the i5-760. You could wait a few more weeks when the price of the i7 might also drop. Bulovski
Ran Borderlands last night on the system in 720. Maxed out everything under graphics options. Didn't measure with FRAPS but astounding performance. Smooooooth.
