Friends,

Need your help....I have already asked aman bhai help on overclocked ..he and others there has given me a overall specs of what actually i should be looking for...

the thing my budget is Rs 30000-35000 for a new gaming pc....I want something that i wont even have to think about upgrading for next 3 years atleast and can play any game on full max.

Now aman bhai has already told me the thing i am looking for is not gonna be less then Rs 50000(without monitor)

I know he has given me his best opnion and i even know he is absolutely right....but the thing is i am not gonna be buying it in one go....i will gradually buy all the stuffs ...i will be able to complete this computer by next year march...so by that time price will also come down and also my aunt will be in usa next year( so planning to send her some money to buy some graphics card for me there as she may find it cheap there )...

so i am planning to start with cabinet first......

I would suggest, you keep the Cabinet till the last and buy the hardware first. Once your done with that, you can select a suitable cabby as per your requirements. :naughty:

And 35000 can make you a low-end gaming RIG but it will not be future-proof. I will try and config you a good one.

Cheers!

^^

Very bad decision.

Always get the PC in one go. Or atleast get the best-top of the line motherboard+CPU with the least minimum ram from the latest spec sheet.

1. Get the Medium-High range i5 or i7 mobo+CPU.

2. The least amount of RAM u need atleast a 3 GB DDR3 in tri channel.

3. The PSU is tricky. u have to keep in mind the type of gpu u gonna get.

4. The cabbie can wait.

5. GPU get the best one u can afford at the last cycle.

Also just FYI for hew of you, all the cards will run on a less power PSU, its not like they won't boot till the PSU is really cheap a*s, but what happens is your GPU does not perform to the max,and also it kills your PSu slowly.

Actually... we have to define the "future proof" here.

If it means gaming all the upcoming games in MAX AA resolutions. No the 30k soln wont last.

But its general computing/basic gaming/ and stuf then yeas it would.

so @playstation, whats ur definition of future proof?

See this

AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE - 8.9k

Biostar TA790GXB A3+ - 6k

Transcend 2GB DDRIII 1333MHz - 2.5k

Sapphire 4870 512MB DDR5 or Sapphire 5750 1GB GDDR5(DX11)-9k

Seagate 500GB SATAII 7200.12 series- 2.4k

CM Elite 334 - 2.2k

Corsair VX450 - 4.5k

BenQ 24" G2400HD and Any DVDRW + KBB + Mouse if needed.

Ibet this would last 3 years even with medium gaming.
