Flipkart prices are really quite high.. With same warranty and bill, prices in wazirpur or nehru place are way way less.

Warranty is a constant and you do not even require the bill for replacement of the defective product these days (unless explicitly mentioned).

Prices in a dedicated market or e-retail site will be definitely lower than flipkart but very often you will get deals on certain products that are nigh unmatchable unless you have a cushy relation with the store you frequent.

Sorry about that mate, did you get the components you had set out for, or will you hold for a bit?

Yes. Got the components I needed. Flipkart had the nerve of jacking the prices of i5 3570 to Rs. 14,952/- which is even higher than the 3570K. Thankfully, I got it locally for much cheaper and same goes for the RAM and motherboard. Good thing I didn't fall for those stupid Flipkart pricing.

Sometimes I suspect that the person responsible for flipkart's prices (especially newer catalogue) is a mental monkey who randomly punches numbers that they fancy into the giant machine.

And what is with the 8-bit 300?

P.S. -- Did you play INFINITE? Opinions on same, you can leave it on TE's Gaming section will check it there.

Finished it last night. I feel awesome for pre-ordering this. Now need to get DLC's in the Summer Sale or if a decent sale breaks out on GmG.

nVidia GTX660Ti 2 GB ~20000/-

[rest all same]

Also, where are you based and what source do you prefer for these components?

Hey guys, since I'm on a time crunch, I need help from you bros.

My cousin wants a new PC. His budget is around 42-43k. Currently he plays only Dota 2.

In the near future I don't see him moving on to any graphics heavy games like crysis. Please

suggest a build for him. He needs everything new (from scratch). I might be able to convince

him to keep his old crt if it means getting a better graphic card.

:)

Check the following --

The prices are not inclusive shipping charges.

flipkart pricing shall be asinine most of the times although on occasions though a deal can be spotted in the rough and for remote locations it is often the only reliable source of getting an expensive product.

lol i totally forgot about itwares and itdepot while searching fr gfx card prices..........i got this exact one :

http://hardwire.in/880-xfx-radeon-hd-7850-2-gb.html

Yes, online prices can be pretty dated another reason I keep them only for guestimates, serious price can be collected by visiting the local PC hardware haven once in two months.

Why do you need ~12 GB of RAM?

Are you going to over-clock the RIG, if no then even a cheaper Core i5 will do the job with a more powerful graphic card.

I suggest you go for a GTX660 2 GB or Sapphire HD7870 2 GB minimum. For the latter you will need to go for a slightly more powerful SMPS as well, Seasonic S12II 520W or Antec VP550W.
