Agree with PV

UC platforming is no where near TR or AC. and Puzzles are joke...

Montylee

Game gets better after chapter 5...Game has some cool boss fight nd puzzules..You will love it....

Assassin's Creed ? the skill level required for platforming in that game is even below Uncharted.

nimmo it is double tap on the left analog n keep it pressed up, i.e. the direction u want to keep moving in...

i had a problem with the dash n the run coz my left analog was pretty busted up... it gets stuck in position as well... perhaps u want to try with another controller in case u have the same issue..

finally did it !! turned out to be pretty easy. Fail was mine. I thought double tap meant literally tap as in pressing the LS instead of moving it. So i was double clicking the stick ie L3 instead of moving it :|

thanks kaka_messi for the detailed explanation. maine faaltu mein hi kojima/mercury stream, 360 to gaaliyan bak di :fear: my sincerest apologies to them.

met claudia, the amount of work done in making her face portay the expressions and the details in her eyes is :majesty: for someone who cant speak the eyes are the most important way to express the emotions, the animators have done a spotless job in that. respect.

also have figured that in order to not get my a*s handled in combat, block is the way to go.. the game spews tough love, making you appreciate it by not mollycoddling, even at starting levels loving it :D

I didn't use block as much as roll. The combat becomes easier as you play and unlock more moves, secondary weapons and gear. I have a completely upgraded Gabe right now and am pwning things on Paladin. Ultimate Light FTW!!

^^

roll does not do good when you are surrounded by multiple mid-sized enemies, the 3 big lycans for example when you have to collect the crystal shards before the stone titan fight, the timed block- blue flash of light is really helpful there. but yes, both the block and dodge have their own merits and usages depending on the enemies

just had the fight with the first lord of shadow, the lycan ruler ? and god damn was not that tough. cursed a lot, retried a lot and finally understood the pattern to defeat him.. only to fight his lycan form :panic:

:panic:

defeated that after more cursing and then broke the pillars and when i was doing the finishng QTE, the friggin power went off :fogug:

does this game ever stop giving epicness ? :surprise:

on chapter 10 now (i think). just did the baba yaga toolbox puzzle. great platforming. the vampire castle was omfg, them graphics O.O

at the risk of committing blasphemy, this just might be the BEST hack and slash game this gen, perfect mix of story, graphics, combat, mythos and setting.

Just finished the game yesterday... certainly the underdog of 2010 in my opinion. So much for saying the game is inspired from many others; how many have done as well as Castlevania?

The ending cinematic after the credits was O_O

f**k! I still havent gotten past the first Titan in the frozen lake. :wallbash:

That is the only challenge in the entire game, as soon as it about to punch the ground, run. Then jump up and try to damage those weakpoints, you even get checkpoints during boss fights.

Bu... bu... bu.... Just Cause 2 is extremely addictive :samui:

For 10 hours, then it becomes incredibly repetitive.

I don't think MT's problem is beating the boss. He just buys too many games and doesn't finish any :P

PS: I think I'm the only one who was disappointed by the ending (the epilogue actually). Epic game otherwise...
