South Park

ETA: 2012 (Tentative)

Genre: RPG

Platforms: PC, PS3, X360

Publisher:THQ

From the Minds of Trey Parker and Matt stone comes a RPG of Epic (dumbass-adry) proportions.

Collaborating with THQ and Obsidian, Matt Stone and Trey Parker will finally bring their beloved Franchise to the gaming scene. (The cash-in Acclaim Titles don't count).

Matt and Trey will be actively involved in the development process and will be writing the script as well as performing the dialogue.

As the new kid in South Park, it'll be up to you to make friends and defend the town from a wide range of threats.

Timmy!!!

It should also include the Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren episode (I think season 14 - Sexual Healing -hilarious episode) where Cartman,Kenny and later Stan play Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2011 on the Xbox 360.

EA later tried to sue Matt and Trey..don't know if they went ahead with it though

Come on spin. I know you liked New Vegas.... a LOT.

thinking about it a year later, i'm hard pressed to see obsidian's real contribution to the game. it was a total conversion mod of fallout 3. the handful of new gameplay systems they introduced (hardcore mode, companions) were dull and buggy. they never did fix any of the engine related issues. they didn't stray at all from the bethesda formula, although i suppose that's because bethesda kept them on a tight leash, which is probably the only reason it wasn't a disaster like alpha protocol. as for my own experience with the game, i played it non stop for a week but after 35 hours i was bored out of my mind and i rushed to finish the game in ~45 hours. never did play any of the dlc, nor did i ever feel the need to go back to it. now compare this to skyrim where i'm over 100 hours in and nowhere close to being bored.

a few flashes of brilliance aside, the reason new vegas was good had almost nothing to do with obsidian, even though they 'made' it.
