Nintendo has revealed the launch date and price for its high-anticipated Switch 2 console.
During its latest Nintendo Direct broadcast, the company revealed that the Switch 2 will launch on June 5 with a retail price of $449.99 in the US. There will also be a Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle, priced at $499.99.
Alongside the announcement, Nintendo also listed what buyers will get in the box:
- Switch 2 console
- Joy-Con 2 controllers (L+R)
- Joy-Con 2 Grip
- Joy-Con 2 Straps
- Nintendo Switch 2 Dock
- Nintendo Switch 2 AC Adapter
- Ultra High-Speed HDMI Cable
- USB-C Charging Cable
Note that Nintendo does not officially launch or support its products in India, so an official Switch 2 launch in India is unlikely. However, as in the past, the Switch 2 should be available through importers soon after international launch, albeit at higher prices.
