  1. so people. how many of us suffer with wanderlust. thought i should bring it into focus cause i'm leaving for daman n diu in 2 days! lets go... places i have travelled to:

    kisthwar(j & K)

    lancedowne

    lohaghat

    pitthoragarh

    mukhteshwar

    the whole himachal

    goa(duh)

    alwar(rajasthan)

    dhanaulti

    pancheshwar

    kashmir

apart from that, my father being in army, i have travelled s**t loads with him.

  2. I would recommend Californication too,gr8 acting from DD,plus the dialogue is witty too!!

i tried watching it but it could not hold my attention...there was just too much sex revolving around nothing :( ... but someone did tell me that it gets better later on....too bad, i did'nt really have the patience.

  3. Insomnia is overrated..

    sleeping FTW..!!

hell.. once when my 12th boards were over (as i was a commerce student and was super confident of scoring in mid 90s) I had nothing to do till results were out- no coachings/enterances.. my ps2 got broken and out of sheer boredome I slept 19 hrs a day..

on more than one occasion.. FACT.

overrated :threatenlumber: ? i have lied awake in my bed in the night for 6-7 hours... on more than one occassion. and that, my dear, is a fact.

  4. I wouldn't compare Donnie Darko to Jacob's Ladder, although both dabble heavily in the psychological, they're different movies. Donnie Darko is more of a cynical view on 80s pop culture and values with some sci-fi, time travel etc thrown in. Jacob's Ladder on the other hand is pure mindf**k with some unforgettable scenes. Both are great movies though and can be interpreted in multiple ways.

BTW I love the music used in Donnie Darko. Makes the movie a whole lot better than it actually is. The ending sequence with "Mad World" playing... :happydance:

:happydance: i second that. jacob's ladder is one of the most beautiful movies i have ever seen. but donnie darko aint just about surrealism. music in both gives them a lovely haunting appeal. haven't still seen the machinist or erazerhead. wanting to watch both after having their names constantly crooned in my ears.
