    Flipkart is a really good site!!! i ordered plenty of things from there (incl two mobiles the Motorola Defy and the HTC Desire S) without any problems. But recently they seemed to change their shipping policy. they donot ship items above Rs. 10000/- to upcountry locations (like mine). Which means people like me are so screwed. But otherwise excellent website and even the customer support is great.

    clarity meaning? I dont think you can recover out of focus areas tho. If u see the image, some random areas/patches in the image (bottom left and right for example) are in good focus, while the rest remain unfocused. Was that the intention? IMO i think the camera's autofocus messed up. Did u click it in dim light?

     

    no .. that was definately not the intention ... i dont think the bottom left and right are well focused either. The only thing that really is in focus in th eimage is the top part of the flower .. esp the edge of teh petals. thanks for pointing it out though DS!!!

     

    moral of the story: never turst autofocus to do everything for you .. :\ ....

    btw: @reaper the flower is out of focus. I'm surprised it is actually as there seems to be decent light and contrast for the camera to autofocus.

     

     

    .. the flower looks outof focus cos i think i used a bit too much clarity and luminiscence .... :\ ... will try to reprocess teh image today.

     

    decent light and contrast .. hmm . .lightroom can simulate that very well ..

    shot RAW in the dark with the Sigma 70-300mm at full zoom and in macro mode. oh .. and also processed in Lightroom.

     

    BTW .. i really feel post processing though it makes the images look much better, is like cheating ... everything can be processed ... even the composition .. :\

    woah!!! plenty of photographers here!! a few really awesome pics too!!!

     

    I got me a D5100 with nikkor18-105 & 50mm and Sigma 70-300mm lens (very goddamn noisy and almost useless without a tripod at maximum zoom but clarity is impressive though)

     

    get ready for a flood of photographs ...

    She is absolutely fine with it. Its the kid thats the problem.

    take my word for it .... its awesome !!! except for the eclair part. Still havnt found a proper custom ROM to install on it though.

     

    its absolutely drool proof .. I can now be bindass knowing that my kid is "playing" with my mobile phone. drool proof / scratch proof / shock proof and what not!!!

     

    somebody please

     

    ok ... i installed darky's custom rom on my galaxy S ... strange problem though .. Angry Birds dosnt install anymore .. :\ ... All other apps / games install without a hitch though. Whatmight be the reason??
