IVG Podcast #12

PodcastIt feels like it’s been ages since the last IVG Podcast. So Nash and I finally decided to get on Skype and see if we still remembered how it was done. As it turns out, we never knew how it was done in the first place, but regardless, we finally have IVG Podcast #12 after a gap of six months.

We’ve tried to keep the podcast as short and crisp as possible. Hit the jump for a round-up of what we talked about this time and to listen to the podcast.

  • Ubisoft’s absurd anti-piracy measure
  • Mass Effect 2 Xbox 360 delay in India
  • FIFA World Cup 2010 announcement
  • Release date announcements – Metro 2033, Assassin’s Creed 2 (PC), Lost Planet 2
  • Gears of War in Lost Planet 2

  • Top 10 games of all time – Taking a cue from Aftrunner’s thread on the forums, Nash and I realised that we had no clue about each others’ favourite games. So we decided to list our top 10 games.
  • Game releases – Delays and how Microsoft got it right
  • PlayStation Experience – Confused between casual and hardcore. Where’s the third-party support?
  • Releases of February

What we’re playing (mini reviews/impressions)

  • Army of Two: The 40th Day
  • Dark Void
  • Darksiders

Mass Effect 2 Contest

The sound quality is a little erratic, especially on Nash’s end; a sad by-product of podcasting over Skype. As always, let us know what you thought of this podcast, and if there’s anything you’d like to hear us discuss, drop us a line at the discussion thread on the forums.

  1. With havin so much content do you ever run into
any problems of plagorism or copyright violation? My
blog has a lot of exclusive content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but it seems
a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my permission.
Do you know any techniques to help stop content from being ripped off?
    I’d certainly appreciate it.

  2. Hey there I am so thrilled I found your website, I really found you by mistake,
while I was looking on Digg for something else, Anyways I am
here now and would just like to say thanks a lot for a fantastic post and a all round entertaining
blog (I also love the theme/design), I don’t have time to read it all
at the minute but I have bookmarked it and also added your RSS feeds, so
when I have time I will be back to read a lot more, Please do keep
    up the fantastic work.
