Agreed! I'm actually asking because I recently got APP2 as a gift and is lying unused at home - so wanted to understand whether to sell the used APP1 or sell the sealed pack APP2 and upgrade to 3rd gen later this year.

Is there a huge difference between the APP1 and APP2 ANC? I have the APP1 working just fine and not sure if the APP2 upgrade is worth it.

This is quite a debatable topic though, I was confused about this too when I was contemplating between the 256 and 512 MBP one last year - but then I realized buying an SSD (along with iCloud+) was a much better option than spending the extra money for 512...so I went ahead and got the 256GB, iCloud+, 1TB T1 SSD and haven't faced any space constraints. To each his own though!

Hahaha my Dad till date gets upset everytime i get a credit card delivery even if its an upgrade or renewal...he thinks I've got one more cc and never believes the true reason XD I learnt long back that it makes sense to keep only a couple of cards that you'll actually use rather than raking up on tens of cards just cause you're getting them 'free' .
