  1. LG V30+ is on sale for $15000 or $13500 with an SBI credit card. Good price. https://www.flipkart.com/lg-v30-black-128-gb/p/itmfbykggfbfbgnt?pid=MOBFBSXJS88HTYZF&lid=LSTMOBFBSXJS88HTYZFSUGOQU&marketplace=FLIPKART
  2. Hey man, I'm out of town right now. I'll take pictures of the panel and give you a proper reply.
  3. Hey sure, I am running a 7.1.4 configuration and here's the set up currently. 65 LG C8 Oled Marantz 8012 11.2-channel home theater receiver McIntosh SL1 sub (It is old and have issues with this) DefTech BP9080x towers as L & R with Integrated 12" Powered Subwoofer and Height Module (I'm currently not using the upward firing Atmos speakers from the towers) DefTech CS9080 for center with Integrated 8" Powered Subwoofer and Bass Radiator (Currently not using the powered sub from the center) 2 x DefTech SR9080 Bipolar Surround Speakers for surrounds 2 x DefTech SR9040 Bipolar Surround Speakers for rear surrounds 4 x Micca 8C in ceiling speakers, 8 inch Few things, I have to get additional support for the towers to prevent vibrations going through the walls and pillars. So looking into options currently. I am also looking to replace my current old and dying sub, as of right now I am leaning towards the Rythmik F18, it is an18" sealed audiophile sub with 900WRMS amplifier. Also down the line, will be getting a premium 4K UHD player replacing my current LG UBK9 4K UHD. Here are some pictures. Sorry for the low quality and dark nature, I happened to take these randomly to send to few friends regarding the set up. This shows the towers and the center. The sub is on the far right corner of the room. You can also see the 4K UHD player sitting on the counter. Currently I'm using LG UBK9. That brick pillar is fake one that's been created to hang the surround left speaker and to make it seemless, also happened to get some fabric panels made as you see on the left. This is the surround right speaker on the wall between the two windows in the living room. Rear surround right speaker hanging from the ceiling, want to black out the wiring as well, so they don't look out of place. As you can see the ceiling has fabric across the living room to aid in the better acoustics. The same speaker. Both the rear surrounds are hanging from the ceiling as you can see the other one is on the far right side in the picture. All 4 Atmos speakers are in the fabric ceiling. 2 on the left of the seating and 2 on the right. The entire ceiling has been stuffed with rock wool on the inside for sound absorption and to prevent vibrations to some extent. The support hinges for the ceiling in the living has been made with ply to prevent rattles. Even with all these minor additions for better acoustics, I did get my first noise complaint last week . So I am looking to reduce the vibrations going to the floor through the speakers with some padding under the towers and the center. Anyway, that is all and should give you an idea of the space and the set up.
  4. Okay thank you. I'm in the market looking for a comfortable chair with high back support as I'm 6'4. Budget is not an issue.
  5. That's awesome, I see that you purchased it in Hyderabad on Road No.12. I ride a Street Triple RS, did about 2700kms on it so far, haven't done much. Then again I don't go on the highway with it, I should start doing that. How you liking the bike so far? Enjoy and ride safe Haha, it sure does like he skipped. On another note, where did you get that from? How you liking the chair so far and what was the price that you've purchased it?
  6. Interesting. I'm running my 7.1.4 set through a Marantz 8012, however, I can't go down much low due to the fact that the room being my living, it is decently big and there are openings around. So I have to keep the sound at a minimum level to be able to go through with the content. If I do level up the center, it would be dominating the surrounds a little more than my liking. On another note, I'm running my set up without the sub right now as there's an issue with it and getting it fixed. Some of the content I've watched lately, I didn't miss my sub as much as I thought I would, perhaps the reason being the powered subs in the L/R towers.
  7. Yes. Nike and New Balance. Just make sure you buy either from Cloudtail/Appario on Amazon or Retailnet on Flipkart. I think there is another Flipkart owned retailer, forgot what it's called.
  8. You do need an Indian PSN as all DLC are region locked. Applies for both PSN and Xbox Live. Also if you need to purchase any additional DLC, the store region must be the same as the disc region. For example, you can't buy a PS/Xbox game in America and buy the DLC from the PSN/Live in India, the store region will also have to be America.
  9. I think that’s a very good deal. This retails for around $500 even in America and at about 50k here.
  10. Been wanting to purchase the Razer Huntsman Elite for quite a while and I finally pulled the trigger. Quite expensive but hopefully worth it and it will last me long. My current mouse Logitech G602 is an awesome one and still running strong but figured I go within the same line up, so switched that too. Some movies and gadgets from the recent Amazon Prime Day sale in America. That combo of 4K Firestick + Echo Dot 3rd gen was $20. Killer deal, so ended up buying two of them. I've also been eying on the Mission Impossible 4K collection and the Jack Ryan 4K collection. Finally got them along with few others, good prices on all these. I didn't need a phone but the Razer Phone 2 was pretty much an impulse buy as a back up because of the 120Hz screen. That Chroma LED on the back of the phone is pretty cool but I'm guessing it drains the battery?
  11. Oh man, that mouse and design brings back so many memories from my college days, the amount of PC gaming I used to do. Good old times. Probably the best mouse ever, period?
  12. I'd say wait for few more days. Redmi K20 with a Snapdragon 730 should be efficient and decently powerful, also comes with an AMOLED screen and should be under 20k.
  13. Besides donations, other option we could look at is ad and subscription based. People who don't mind donating/paying can subscribe for the website that doesn't have ads while the regular users will have ads around. NeoGAF has had ads for the longest time and I think it is fine as long as we don't over do it. Now I think both NeoGAF and ResetERA started subscription models. Ultimately it is your call as to which route you'd want to take. I feel the ad model will generate a stable income but donations, members will do few times initially but down the line you'd have to ask when needed. Hope it is a valid suggestion.
  14. Looks like someone snapped their fingers on IVG and a year is gone. Damn!
  15. I still couldn’t do it because it was recognizing my region and even with a VPN it didn’t work.
  16. Thank you so much. I got a bunch of their tees, like 12 of them.
  17. Awesome. I’ve had a Logitech gaming mouse almost every alternative generations. Currently using the wireless Logitech G602. Has great battery life and extremely comfortable to use.
  18. That's an awesome headset in case people are wondering and I think that's the cheapest I've seen these.
  19. I ordered from Amazon Italy, Nolan set was out of stock in America, I didn't pay attention to the duties on Amazon because I was under the impression the final amount they show on the page includes it all, not to mention the language was in Italian. Either way yeah, I ordered two sets of these and paid 20000 on duties alone. That was a disaster haha. Funny though, it still turned out cheaper than I would have got these sets in America.
  20. Alright, a decent sized post coming up. First of all is the birthday gift from the fiance, an official Marvel licensed HJC RPHA 11 Pro Spider Man helmet. Yes, she does care for my head haha. Sorry for posting a Snapchat picture over here. Got this TV a month ago, haven't got a chance to post it here yet. Netflix and Prime video for the bedroom are perfect on this. I just have to play with the settings a little more to find the optimum viewing experience. I was looking for replacing my 2013 Macbook Pro 15, been waiting for the 2018 notebooks and see if there is an OLED screen that is worthy of pick up but none were announced at CES. I had to act quick and get the 2017 version. It is a Lenovo X1 Yoga with an OLED display, watching content on this screen is something else. I did game a little but then again this machine isn't meant for gaming. It does have a Thunderbolt 3, so I can hook up an external graphics down the line. Core i7 7600U 512GB NVMe 16GB RAM 14 inch OLED Can't complain about the specs at all. Coming from a Mac, I do miss my MacOS but this form factor , the convertible into a tablet and the keyboard on this is a killer. Did I mention about the OLED display? Got the Plantronics RIG 800LX with Dolby ATMOS for the Xbox One X. Haven't got to test these extensively yet but from the movies I've seen, they sound good. Can't talk about the battery life or about ATMOS yet, I have to start Assassins Creed Origins to experience that. Here are the media goodies. Games and 4K UHD Bliu-ray's. Last but no the least, I imported the following sets off Amazon. I was under the impression that Amazon charges/calculates duties, so I was thinking the final price that I paid is it but boy I was wrong. I got charged Rs.10,000 in customs/duties alone for these 3 sets Game Of Thrones Season 1-7 Blu-ray Harry Potter 8 movie collection in 4K UHD Christopher Nolan collection in 4K UHD (Prestige, Batman Begins, Dark Knight, Inception, Dark Knight Rises, Interstellar, Dunkirk) Can't wait to start watching these sets in glorious 4K, super stoked about these though
  21. Ah alright. Hopefully I’ll find one in stock.
  22. Hey guys, debating on picking up the collectors edition. Worth it?
  23. Yeah I bought one about three weeks ago, I haven’t got to spend as much time with it as I’d like but it’s in room now, moved my previous 55 1080p tv into the second living. My brother in law was telling me that the sound quality isn’t good. However I didn’t and won’t rely on the stock sound because I have my own set of speakers which are always connected to it. So no issues on that. As as for the picture quality, I use it mostly with the Xbox One X and the PS4 Pro. It checks every single default setting for 4K and HDR, for both the X and the Pro. I’m talking about the in console settings including the support for 4K 10bit 60Hz and HDR 10. The picture quality is good, brightness is good, then again I use it in a closed room, so no complaints on either of those. I’m still trying to figure out the best picture settings on the TV, I keep playing with the settings but haven’t got to where I would personally prefer. The panel is sharp and the blacks aren’t OLED level but for an LED panel they’re alright. Even with any little issues, the value proposition is so good. I heard it got a 5k price bump making it 45k now and I still think it’s worth every penny. Netflix works flawless @ 4K and HDR on my Xbox X. If if anyone here has the same tv, please do post your picture settings. I believe it can be tuned into much better picture than the stock picture modes. P.S. Mi needs to put out their stock Netflix, Prime and YouTube app ASAP. I don’t think it should even be called a smart tv until then.
