Review out for all you RPG fans

The Good

Captivating, uniquely presented storyline

Impressive dual-screen presentation

Detailed sprites and 3D environments

Additional chapter and optional content add depth.

The Bad

Battles a little too easy at the start

Minimal monster variety early on

Save system can get a tad annoying.

the baron's thingy, forgot the full name lol

and the boss having

7 forms didn't help either

,my second attempt was a breeze though

^^ Handheld by DS. Also there are some RPG / DS fanboys in this forum who have been known to eat people for bfast. Do not troll.

@Emo - guess will wait for a few more RPGs on the DS and then get them all from the US

I still haven't made time for playing this :/

Emo, how does DQIV compare to Final Fantasy IV DS?

i prefer DQIV,even though FFIV has a much bigger graphical overhaul,it just didn't click with me since i already played the GBA edition and it felt too similar except for the graphics,i also prefer the DQ universe so maybe i'm a bit biased :majesty:

No, I think that's been the general consensus between the DQIV and FFIV remakes for DS. Both are excellent in their own hardcore ways, but DQIV has been getting the most praise for its overall direction. More of a reason that I will have to sink some proper time into this!

After Order of Ecclesia, I hope. Maybe. :majesty:

The difference could be because FF needs to be more big screen because of it's epic storylines. It's hard to feel epic in two small screens - especially once you've played all the previous remakes and the originals.
