  1. I love the fact that it isn't being overtly fan service-y; like you-know-who showing up in Mando. I think this works perfectly fine as a standalone piece of sci-fi fiction. And yep, the look/feel of the "eye" was just excellent in this episode!
  2. Can't wait for this! The first season was brilliant.
  3. I've been using this and it's done everything I need it to: https://www.amazon.in/Qubo-Smart-Home-Security-Camera/dp/B08NWXZ4N7?th=1 I also use a bunch of Wipro smart bulbs and battens, and have never had issues. No Matter support though, so fair warning unless they add it in later.

    Dead Space

I actually thought the dialogue sequence in the original was better, This new script seemed a lot wordier, but that isn't necessarily a good thing when you have a portion of your screen taken up by floating heads. Just seemed clunky on first watch, at least.
  5. Midnight Club, yea. I wonder how much sleep he gets
  6. Yea, I've seen that floating around as well. His output rate vs. quality is just crazy, and he somehow found time to do a full length movie in between.
  7. Not necessarily. Look up small form factor builds, 8L and up. You can build some crazy compact systems if you pick the right parts.
  8. Big week this week. Midnight Mass and Foundation both out on the 24th.
  9. Lol yea, that intro was a massive tell But then, the traditional horror-esque first act threw me off again. Acts 2 and 3 were total stylistic/tonal shifts too, so it kinda always kept you guessing. Real neat stuff. Chris Stuckmann nailed it with his review:
  10. Damn, totally forgot! I still have the region A BD player I picked up from eBay six years ago, lol. I hope I didn't just jinx it
  11. You have that new PS5 of yours, though
  12. No worries, there are good discussions! Yea, Hamilton/Rosberg was a pretty low intensity crash as compared to a car landing on someone's head All that said, this particulat walk off was pretty sad. It's a competitive sport (as all sports are), but you have to expect better from adults. And he had time to think about it as he walked back too I can't recall specific instances, but I know Vettel checked on Norris in that crash in qualifying from a few months ago. And look up the Senna/Comas incident (Belgian GP, again). Comas' foot was still on the accelerator even though he was unconscious when Senna stopped to check on him. We need to expect better, ideally.

    Lost Judgment

Anyone picked this up? It's likely the last game with Nagoshi and Takuya Kimura so it's an interesting novelty at the very least. The video reviews make it look veeery similar to the first game though, and the Yokohama map was just in Like a Dragon :/
  14. Web of Shadows was great! Possibly the best 360/PS3 era Spidey game, and Wolverine played a pretty big part in it iirc.
  15. You don't know how long I've been watching F1 (and you didn't check), so that's just an assumption. And I don't think you see the point. It's not about *whether* he was revving or not. There was no way to be sure at that very delicate point in time, so what do you do when you don't know? You check to be sure. I see that all the time in other sports, and I'm not sure if you're implying that the past condones bad behavior - which would be unfortunate. Again, just my 2c so there's no need to take offense over an opinion
  16. Available for ~930 INR on EGS for those with PCs.
  17. I've heard that argument before. These are complex machines where mechanical faults (like, surprise, from a collision) can likely cause the car to auto-rev. The sportsman-like thing to do would be to check on your fellow contestant, just to be sure. I've seen better conduct in sports where you wouldn't expect it, such as MMA.
  18. 3 episodes in and I'm really enjoying it. The premise is also coincidentally somewhat similar to Alice in Borderland from a few months ago. Also a cool show, btw. 3 episodes in and this is also really good so far. Feels true to the comics and whatever changes they've made haven't hurt the original.
  19. That's actually a good idea, except that a lot of the bigger films (which people may likely want to watch) are going to be on streaming these days anyway. That said, it's a good way to introduce people to commentary tracks and good behind the scenes documentaries, that you don't get on streaming We should grab @STICK3Rboy and @Bird Bird Bird to talk about it, though
  20. Awesome seeing all the positive Malignant reviews! It's purposely campy which mostly people who go in expecting the usual Wan Insidious/Conjuring formula wouldn't expect. The trailer and marketing really misrepresents the movie, and I feel like the user scrores on IMDb, Metacritic and RT will drop from all the people who don't get it. Candyman is excellent as well. Yahya Abdul Mateen II is great as usual, which is a good sign for that other little movie out in December
  21. And another 5 for piss-poor sportsmanship. Apparently you don't need to check on your fellow driver if you land a tire on their head.
  22. Odd that a disc with no visible damage just stopped working! You probably already have, but have you tried another player?
  23. Definitely better and recommended. I've been using an Oral B for the past couple of years or so, and I don't think I can go back to the old ways I use the Qubo outdoor security cameras, and they also have a smart doorbell available. Their service is great because they don't force cloud storage on you. I have continuous local recording available for free, in addition to a bunch of smart features that other companies usually lock behind a paywall. I would check if the doorbell has the same features and pick the right one based on whether you're in a house or apartment. It also helps that Hero is a fairly known commodity. For smart locks, you want to go with a trusted brand. Yale or nothing, essentially.
  24. Really interesting film, mostly because it doesn't seem like the poem it's based on has much depth beyond being an elaborate prank played on Gawain. Perhaps Lowery tried to retrofit some deeper meaning into his interpretation of it, but I couldn't tell exactly from just one watch. I'm not sure if this indicates actual thematic depth, or if adding depth to a story that never had it just makes it muddled/not flow as well. But yea, the start and end sequences were visually stunning
  25. Totally Although Mizoguchi at least worked the same visual/audio magic with Tetris Effect. It's the same Tetris, but utterly breathtaking if you have a decent A/V setup. Weird, it works fine for me. Did you try deleting the save and restarting it fresh? And it's also just as good as I remember it. And that soundtrack...
