The JACKAL Posted March 5, 2008 Report Share Posted March 5, 2008 im serious, after joining this community ive read atleast a million articles posted by the ps3 fanboys indicating that the ps3 has a better processor, better build n all that stuff. The most recent one posted by Barnclebait (no offence) saying that the US air force is impressed with the ps3 cell processor and is the right 1 to get the job done. BUT at the end of the day which is the console that ppl want most???.....obviously the one which has the better games lineup . And that no doubt is the "Xbox360". With upcoming titles such as Ninja gaiden2,fable2,GEARS 2,bionic commando etc who wouldnt want to buy an XBOX. ok maybe MGS4, resistance2 and killzone2 are good games too.. but these are no match for the latter. Singh Posted March 5, 2008 Report Share Posted March 5, 2008 The 360 has a few games I'd like in 2008. Left 4 Dead, The Club, Halo wars (not so sure about this one) are all good examples. But.... Little Big Planet. That is all I have to say because to me that's all the Ps3's got to it in 2008. But to me, it doesn't need much else. I've never played the MGS series and not been a fan of stealth games. Never had a PS2 or PS3 so have no clue about Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 (which pale in comparision to stuff like System Shock 2 or HL2 anyway). Little Big Planet, however, is not coming on any other console and there's - dare I say it? - no other game out like it right now. Its the only reason I'd buy a PS3, but one that's well worth it IMHO Edit: almost forgot to mention. Now, thinking of this post again, what did u do here better than a normal( or below normal) fanboy? NOTHING!! U have both consoles and u like 360 better.That is UR opinion, i agree , but u cannot make other people think similarly just by posting in caps. The underlying point is that Fanboyism has always been there, is still there and will always be- and its those who see it as their ultimate propaganda that are the problem makers.No offense, but from ur post, u just introduced to me urself nothing more than an x360 fanboy. I just posted that article only for the sole reason that i found it interesting...if people like you think that its fanboyish, why would u want to read it? When we talk about the anticipated block-busters on PS3 this year, we mostly talk about MGS4 and GOW3. Now it's understandable for someone who has played ALL the games in these series, to be VERY excited about these. But I have noticed quite a lot of people who have never touched the previous games in the series, yet are excited as hell about the forthcoming ones, and presenting them as the games that got them sold to the console. They might not know what MGS1 or MGS2 was like but the seem to be might excited about what MGS4 is gonna be. So what I want to know is that am I wrong in my belief that it's a bit premature to be excited about a games next outing when you haven't touched the previous ones in the series? I am very excited about GTA4 because I have played all the GTA games before this. But I can't say the same for Ninja Gaiden II. So am I wrong in my belief? P.S.
